P i c o G 2  -A New Reality-                             START GUIDE           Important Notes  1. Please  make  sure  before  use  that  you  don’t  have  any  discomfort  and  your  surrounding  environment  is  safe and  avoid accidents especially when wearing a headset to walk indoors. 2. Do not allow the optical lens of the headset to be exposed to sunlight for a long time, especially when it is stored outdoors, on balconies, windowsills, and in cars. The lens spotlight will cause permanent burns on the screen. 3. Please be careful to protect optical lenses during use and storage to prevent sharp objects from scratching the lens. 4. Do not tune the sound volume too loud, otherwise it may damage your hearing. 5. Prolonged use may cause dizziness or eye fatigue. It is recommended to take a proper rest every 30 minutes 6. You  can  use  the headset  keys  to  complete  basic  operations,  but  if  you want  to  experience  richer and  more  interesting content, please connect and use a controller. 7. This product has no myopia adjustment function and myopia users shall wear it according to the wearing instructions.   8. This product‘s “Eye Protection Mode”, certified by TUV, German, can protect your eyes by reducing blue light in the three color channels by software algorithms. The screen appears yellowish in this mode and you can turn on/off this feature in “Settings” -> ”Brightness” -> “Eye Protection Mode” according to your preference. 9. Children at age of 12 or under are not recommended to use, since their development of vision is not stable yet. 10.  1. Install batteries Press the area marked with arrow and slide it down
 2. Power on the controller Short press HOME key and led blue flashing  3. Power on the headset Long press POWER key and led blue light on
 4. Adjust headband Adjust side headband to comfortable and clear position Now start your VR journey!  Operating Instructions You can use the controller or the headset to operate the headset. The keys on the controller are the same as those on the headset except for the touchpad. It is recommended to use the controller to experience richer and more interesting interactions and contents. Connecting the controller: Short press the controller HOME key to power on the controller, it will automatically connect with headset. Note: if you have problem during the connection, please go to end of this guide and scan the code to check《Detail User Guide》for more information. Disconnecting the controller: Taken off the headset for a while, the controller will automatically disconnect with headset. If you want to reconnect the controller, just short press the HOME key again.   Calibrate the controller: If you find the controller drift and can't see the controller in the headset, please point the controller horizontally to the front of your field of view, press and hold the HOME key for more than 1 second to re-center the controller. Head control mode: You can turn around your head and press headset buttons to operate the headset when the controller is not connected with headset. Wearing Instructions Note: After wearing a headset, if the top strap doesn’t hold tight and cause the headset to fall, please slightly pull down the back pad for more support and make the face comfortable.                      This device has no myopia adjustment function. The headset allows to wear most standard glasses with a frame width of less than 160 mm. If you wear glasses,   1. Put the glasses in the face cushion to cover the glasses 2. Put the straps on the head to fine-tune to a clear and comfortable state. Care and Maintenance    You can replace the face foam and the straps on both sides on your own. If you need to purchase them separately, please contact customer service or Pico authorized service provider or sales representatives.     1. Headset and Lens Care pick up a small amount of alcohol or detergent and wipe the lens from the center to the outer edge.
2. Replace Face Cushion Follow the illustration and stick the face cushion into the headset slit along the edge.  Supervision After powering on the headset, you  can go to “Settings”-> “About”  -> “Supervision” in the home page to view the certified supervision information of the product in its selling area.    Safety Warnings         Before using this product, please read the following warnings and information and follow all product safety and  operating  instructions.  Failure  to  follow  these  guidelines  can  result  in  personal  injuries  (including  electric shock, fire, and other injuries), damage to property, and even death. If you allow others to use this product, you are responsible for ensuring that each user is aware of and follows all product safety and operating instructions.     1. Please make sure to use it in a safe environment. This product creates an immersive virtual reality scene for you. When you use it, you cannot see what’s around you. Please move within a safe space and keep an eye on your surroundings. Do not approach stairs, windows, heat sources or other hazardous areas. 2. Please make sure  that  you  are  in  good health before using  the  product. If you are a pregnant  woman,  an elderly person or suffer from serious physical, mental, visual or heart diseases, please consult a doctor before use. 3. When using the controller, please make sure that there is enough clearance at the top of your head and around to extend your arms. Please hold the controller firmly. Loosening or hitting other people or objects during use may cause injury or damage to the people, pets or objects around you. 4. A few people may experience epilepsy, fainting, severe dizziness and other symptoms due to flash and images, even though they may not have such a medical history. If you have a similar medical history, please consult your doctor before use. 5. This product provides an immersive virtual content experience, and certain types of content may cause your discomfort.  When  the  following  symptoms occur,  you  should  stop using  it  immediately and  seek  medical assistance timely.  Seizures, loss of consciousness, convulsions, involuntary movements, direction disorders, nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, or fatigue;  Eye pain or discomfort, eye strain, eye convulsions, or visual abnormalities (such as hallucinations, ambiguity, or diplopia);
 Skin itching, eczema, swelling, irritation or other discomfort;  Excessive  sweating,  impaired  balance,  impaired  hand-eye  coordination,  or  other  similar  motor symptoms. You cannot drive, operate machines, or participating in activities that may have potentially serious consequences before recovering from these symptoms. 6. This product may emit radio waves and interfere nearby electronic devices. If you are wearing a pacemaker or other implanted medical device, do not use it until you consult a doctor or medical device manufacturer. 7. Please  use  the  charging  equipment  supplied  with  the  product  package  or  conforming  to  the  input  value marked on the product nameplate, otherwise it  may cause accidents. Do not attempt to replace the battery yourself. Doing so may cause damage to the battery, overheating, fire, or personal injury. The battery can only be replaced by Pico or a Pico authorized service provider, and replacing with a battery of the wrong model by yourself may pose a risk of explosion. 8. Both the headset and the controller of this product contain lithium-ion polymer or lithium-ion batteries. Please recycle and dispose the device properly according to local regulations. Keep the device away from excessive humidity and extreme temperatures and avoid direct sunlight or ultraviolet radiation 9. Do not disassemble, replace, or repair the device yourself. Otherwise, it will lose  its warranty. If you need repair service, please contact customer service or have it repaired by a Pico authorized service provider. 10. Children at the age of 12 or under are not advised to use this product, which may be harmful to the children's health and safety. Keep headsets, controllers, and accessories out of reach of children. Teenagers over the age of 12 must be supervised by adults to prevent accidents.  Product Warranty Terms  You can repair your device for free in 12 months since purchase date. Please contact with Pico if you need repair services.  Warranty Tips The Limited Warranty does not cover: 1.  Defects or damage resulting from improper usage, maintenance or storage not included in this manual; 2.  Packing box or gifts other than the main device; 3.  Defects or damage resulting from unauthorized dismantling, alteration and maintenance;   4.  Damage caused by force majeure such as fire, flood and lightning, etc.; 5.  The product has exceeded the validity period of the warranty. EU REGULATORY CONFORMANCE This is a class B product.
