WARNING
Always consult your physician •
before beginning or modifying your
exercise routine.
The device is not medical devices, •
and could suffer from interference
from external electrical sources.

Follow these guidelines as well to
ensure safe Cycling:
Always use your best judgement, •
and operate your bicycle in a safe
manner. Do not become distracted
by the device while riding, and
always be fully aware of your
surroundings. Minimize the amount
of time spent viewing the device
screen while riding.
While riding, never attempt to •
adjust settings or access functions
that require more than a quick
glance. Pull over and come to a
complete stop in a safe location off
the road before making settings or
adjustments.
Secure your bicycle in a safe place •
to switch modes or replace the
battery.
The bicycle may fall causing an
injury.
Pioneer Pedaling Monitor Sensor is not a medical device.

Important Safety Information
After switching modes or replacing •
the battery, install the transmitter
cover securely and tighten the screw
with the specied torque.
If it is not installed securely, it may
fall causing an accident or injury.
Do not leave small parts such as •
screws or the battery in an area
that infants can reach to prevent
accidental swallowing. If you think
this may have happened, consult
with a doctor immediately.
Before riding your bicycle, make •
sure that the device is installed
securely in an area that does not
disturb riding operations. Make
especially sure that cable ties are
secure and all screws are tightened
as any loose components could
cause the device to fall causing an
accident or injury.
Consult with the dealer if there is
malfunction such as looseness.
Do not leave the device in places •
that are exposed to direct sunlight,
high temperature, high humidity,
or a lot of dust as it may cause the
device to malfunction.
Never dismantle, refurbish, or repair •
the device or any attached parts as
it could cause electrical shock or the
device to malfunction.
Do not use this device if any unusual •
conditions exist such as penetration
by a foreign object, water
submersion, smoke is detected, or
an unusual odor is detected.
Stop using the device immediately
and have it repaired.
This device communicates using •
ANT+ radio communication. Do
not use in areas that forbid the
use of electronic devices such as
hospitals or airplanes as unintended
interference from this device could
cause serious accidents.

with the antenna input connector
of your television, video, satellite
tuner, etc. In this event, increase the
distance between the antenna input
connector and this unit (including
products supported by this unit).

Before Use (Important)
If the device is exposed to a large •
amount of water or moisture,
immediately wipe it down with a
dry cloth.
Only open or close the transmitter
cover after having completely wiped
off any moisture. Be sure your hands
are completely dry and you are in an
environment where the unit will not
get exposed to moisture again.
If this device is exposed to water, •
thoroughly dry all crevices on the
units body where water may have
permeated.
This unit has been designed with water-
resistance equivalent to standards
IPX6(*) as dened by the International
Electrotechnical Commission (IEC).
Malfunctions due to water damage
caused by improper use are not
covered by the product warranty, even
if they occur within the warranty period.
Depending on conditions of use, •
the water-resistant features are
not necessarily guaranteed even
during the warranty period.

We recommend you have the rubber
gaskets in the transmitters of the
sensors replaced periodically. (This is a
paid service.)
