Unscrew and remove the battery covers on both the controller and the charging unit insert 4"AA" alkaline batteries (not included) intothe charger unit and 3 ”"AAA alkaline batteries (not included) into the controller or the battery compartments Then replace the battery covers and tighten the screws. (F or R) to make the boat move forwards and backwards.
