OM-1 Transmitter

Applications

The OM-1 is a 27.125 MHz pulsed RF, ISM band transmitter. It has been designed to

serve as a stand alone transmitter, or utilized with appropriate power amplification and

harmonic output suppression to drive:

1. RF powered Lasers – May be used for cutting and welding of many different

materials such as plastic and metals.

2. Pulsed short wave diathermy instruments

3. Pulsed RF, non thermal, frequency response based therapeutic instruments.

4. Gas plasma generation – Thermal and Non Thermal. RF excited gas plasmas are

useful for electronics manufacturing and sterilization.

5. RF induction welders.

6. RF excited, UV emitting plasma tube for sterilization/decontamination of large

surface areas.
