CRAYOLA FUN FM MICROPONE
INTRODUCTION
Your Crayola Fun FM Microphone is designed to be used with FM radios as a wireless
microphone.

BATTERY INSTALLATION
— Open the Battery Compartment Cover (5) using a screwdriver and insert 2 x AA (UM—3)
batteries as shown.
- Replace the Battery Compartment Cover (5),
Note: The Microphone can be tested for operation by pressing the Talk Button (2) and the
Power Indicator Light will be turned on.
* Do not mix old and new batteries.
* Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc) or rechageable (nickel—cadmium) batteries.

OPERATION
- Use any good FM radio. Tum the radio on and face the radio towards you. AdjuRl the radio
volume to a low level.
— Place the Microphone close to the radio, press the Talk Button (2) and speak into the Mi—
crophone (I) in a normal voice while tuning your FM radio back and forth across the 100
~0.5 on the tuning dial.
- After the FM radio is tuned to the microphone moves 5 feet away from the radio. You may
need to re-adjust the tuning for the best reception.
- When using the Microphone at a distance of 10 feet or more from the radio, it may be
necessary to increase the radio volume and carefully tune the radio again for best reception.
Note: For best results, stand 5 to 10 feet away from the radio with the Antenna (4) pointed
towards the radio.

IMPORTANT NOTES
- Your Crayola FM Microphone is for use with FM radios only and will not work on the AM
or other bands.
- The microphone is not tunable. The FM radio tuning range is 100 ~0.5 on the radio dial.
— The reception of the microphone may be affected by the environment, ie. metal structure or
the movement of people between the microphone and the radio.
— The reception of the microphone can also be affected by the batteries conditions from both
of the microphone and the radio.
— If the microphone is not to be used for an extended period, remove the batteries from the
unit.
- For best results use only alkaline batteries.
- Do not expose the microphone to excessive heat, moisture or rain.

The Manufacturer is not responsible for any radio or TV interference caused by unauthorized
modifications to this equipment. Such modifications could void the user's authority to Oper-
ate the equipment.
