FAQs (Frequently Asked Questions)5. You will most likely not listen to your iPod all the time while driving. You will probably also listen to FM /AM radio stations or your CD player. However when you hear the phone ring, you need to switch to the FM channel for the BTCup to be able to listen to the other party and start the conversation.6. The BTCup can be paired with multiple cell phones, but it can only memorize the last connected phone. To use another phone, please turn off the Bluetooth in the last connected phone to release the BTCup, the LCD screen will flash blue. If another phone has the BTCup in its Bluetooth device list, you can select the BTCup and bond with it again. Otherwise, pair them like a new connection. 7. When you do not need the BTCup for phone call, please press and hold down On/Off button for 1 second to turn the BTCup off.36Q3) What should I do, if music or voice output from the car radio is distorted?A3) Please stop and park the car safely first if you are driving, then change to another frequency channel until it is clear.Q4) After the BTCup is powered off, why does my iPod change to pause?A4) When the BTCup is switched to off or cigarette lighter power stops after car engine is turned off, iPod playing will change to pause and eventually iPod will be turned off to save power. If you want the iPod continues playing, please press play button on the iPod.Q5) Why does the other party occasionally hear some kind of noise in the call? Why isn’t the phone call quality through the BTCup as clear as the direct phone to phone call? A5) When the BTCup is in a very noisy environment such as driving on the freeway, its noise cancellation kicks in, which might introduce some other kind of sound(noise) or make your voice appear slightly distorted to the other party occasionally. This is normal. 7Q1) What should I do, if the BTCup does not function normally?A1) Please check all the wires or cables are connected, and iPod is docking properly, whether the power of your cigarette lighter is working properly. Please make sure the BTCup and the cell phone are turned on and connected.Q2) Why doesn’t my phone work with the BTCup?A2) First make sure your cell phone is Bluetooth equipped. For the first time use, please pair the phone with the BTCup so that the LCD shows solid blue color. If your phone has worked with the BTCup before but not anymore, and there is no other Bluetooth headset or cell phone around connected currently, the last thing you can do is to delete the BTCUP Handsfree device from your phone and pair it with the BTCup to start all over again.
