Ifthebatteryhasnotbeenusedforalongperiodoftime,youmaynotbeabletopoweron
yourmobilephoneimmediatelyafteryoubeginchargingthebattery.Allowthebatteryto
chargeforafewminuteswiththephonepoweredoffbeforeattemptingtopoweronthe
phone.Theon‐screenchargeanimationmaynotbedisplayedduringthisperiod.
Overtime,thebatterywillnotholdachargeforaslongasitdidwhenitwasnew.Whenthe
batterylifebecomesnoticeablyshorterthanusualafterbeingchargedproperly,replacethe
batterywithanewoneofthesametype.
Usingdataservicesincreasesdemandonthebatteryandwillreducethelengthoftimeitcan
holdacharge.
Thetimerequiredtochargethebatterydependsontheenvironmentaltemperatureandthe
ageofthebattery.
