  DISCOLIGHT BT SPEAKER INSTRUCTION MANUAL    The picture is only provided for reference. Please refer to the actual unit! 1. Preface Please read this user’s manual carefully before using the product to make a correct use of the play functions and know well about the system connection and usage.    Keep this manual in a safe place for future reference.   Unpacking Please unpack the unit carefully and make sure the following accessories are contained in it; put them well and prevent them from missing.

Introduction This product is a Bluetooth® sound system supporting stereo music, hands-free for answering calls, equipped with digital signal processing technology, echo and noise removal feature. It is applied to the different usages like office and house, etc., and it may be connected to most other equipment and mobile phones supporting Bluetooth® feature by means of wireless for hi-quality hands-free calls and play the stereo music from other equipment and mobile phones. 4. Precautions First thank you for buying SYLVANIA SP136 Bluetooth® speaker. Please refer to this Users’ Manual before use to use it properly. The contents stated herein may be modified from time to time for better service as the product properties and functions are changed without prior notice. For the sound performances of the product, never use it in too cold, too hot, too dusty or humid places, especially: 1.  Moist or underwater conditions 2.  Near the heater or hi-temperature services   3. Solarization 4.  Places apt to fall 5.  Never disassemble the combination audio; otherwise, it may invalidate the warranty.     Warnings 1.  Please protect the product from water like water drops or splash. Do not put water containers like vase onto the product to avoid any unexpected accidents. 2. Please check if the voltage of the power grid is the same with that specified on the power adapter of this unit.   5. Introduction to product panel and functions

Vol – key: short press to decrease the volume – Press and hold to go to Prev song 7. Vol + key: short press to increase the volume – Press and hold to go to Next song 8. Multi-function button (MFB): Play/Pause/answer a call / end a call / reject a call / redial last number 9. Microphone hole TURN ON/OFF THE SPEAKER There is an On/Off switch at the back of the speaker. Place it to ON position, you will hear a beep sound from speaker and the quickly flashing blue indicator light indicates a successful boot, In order to save power, put the switch to OFF position when the speaker is not in use.   LIGHT BUTTON You can decide to switch on the LED Moon light at the base of the speaker or not with the LIGHT button at the top of the speaker. When switched ON, the LED Moon light will change of color automatically after some seconds. There are totally 7 different colors. LED INDICATOR LAMP (LOCATED NEAR THE ON/OFF BUTTON): BLUE: The blue LED indicator lamp will flicker during the Bluetooth® connection and pair and will flash slowly after successful connection and pair.   RED:   The red LED indicator lamp is ON when the unit is charging. It turns OFF when the unit is fully charged. Charge Mode:   Connect one end of the micro USB cable supplied together with the product to one free USB port of the computer or to a USB wall charger (not included), and the other end to the DC 5V port located at the back of the product to charge. The red LED charge indicator lamp will turn ON. Remarks:   A. When one end of the MICRO USB connecting cable is connected to the computer (or wall plug) in any state and at any time, and the other end is connected to DC 5V port of the product, the lithium
battery will be charging. B. It will take 2 hours for the lithium battery to be fully charged and the red LED indicator lamp will turn off when the battery is charged completely.   C. A standard power adapter with DC 5V output (not included) may be used to normally charge the unit. D. When the battery is low, the speaker will make a beep sound. When this occurs, please charge the speaker. 6. Operation instructions   Pairing the speaker with Bluetooth devices (phone or music device) Turn on the speaker. Place the speaker and Bluetooth device (phone or music device) so that they are no further than 1 meter from each other. Activate the Bluetooth function on your Bluetooth device (phone or music device). Please refer to the manufacturer’s instructions for instructions on enabling Bluetooth on your device.   Once you have activated Bluetooth on your device, select the speaker “Sylvania SP136” from the list of available Bluetooth devices. If required, enter the password ‘0000’ to confirm & finalize pairing. Once paired successfully, you can hear a beep sound from speaker and the blue LED flashes one time every three seconds. You can now start to use the speaker.   If pairing is unsuccessful, turn off the speaker first and then re-pair following the above steps. Once you have paired the speaker with a device, the speaker will remember this device and will pair automatically when the device’s Bluetooth is activated and in range. You do not need to re-pair any previously connected devices.   The speaker will attempt to automatically connect to the last device it was paired with when switched on. If you want to pair it with a new device please long press MFB button until the blue led flash quickly and follow the steps outlined above.   Once the speaker is paired with your device the music will transmit directly to the speaker. Please refer to your device’s user manual for further information.    Connection with AUX cable You may also connect any device with a headphone socket using the 3.5mm audio cable (included). Connect this cable to headphone socket of your device and to the AUX input on the speaker. Listening to Music Once the speakers are paired with your device you can stream music wirelessly to the speakers. Select the track you wish to listen to and it will be streamed to your speakers. Should you encounter any problems while streaming please refer your device’s user manual for further information.
Volume control Short press once or more the VOL- / Prev or the VOL+ / Next button to adjust the volume in the desired level. When maximum or minimum volume is reached you will hear a beep. Note: You may also adjust the volume from your Bluetooth® enabled device's volume control. Play/Pause Press the Play/Pause button to pause the music. To resume the music, press this button again. Changing Songs (with devices that have AVRCP Bluetooth® profile) Press and hold the Next button to go to next song. Press and hold the Prev button to go to previous song.  Making a call with the speaker Basic operation Incoming call:   Press the MFB button once to answer Short press MFB button twice to reject the call During call: Press the MFB button once to end the call In standby mode and connected to a device: Short press MFB button twice to redial last number Please Note  Not all mobile phones support all the functions listed above. Please refer to your cell phone’s user’s manual for further information.  7. Mobile devices supported In theory, it can support all equipments with Bluetooth® music play features such as smartphones, tablets, computers equipped with bluetooth technology, etc.  8. Guidance on simple troubleshooting Failure   Resolutions  Bluetooth® pair and connection fail   Other cell phone or equipment has been connected before connection, and has not left yet and Bluetooth® cannot be switched off. When connection feature is employed again, the Bluetooth® unit will automatically search for this Bluetooth® equipment for connection. First turn off the Bluetooth® feature of Bluetooth® equipment and the next Bluetooth equipment can search, pair and connect normally.   The indicator lamp does not turn on and the Bluetooth® unit is not available Bluetooth® unit has not operated for a long time, and may come into dormant state, then press the MFB button on the unit for a longer time to re-use it.   Low Bluetooth® volume  Check the volume level of your Bluetooth device when playing the music and increase the volume if needed. Short Bluetooth® connection distance There is a barrier between the cell phone and Bluetooth®  Speaker, please clear it away.   Bluetooth® may be normally connected and played, but sometimes,  there is interrupted 1. There is a barrier between the cell phone and Bluetooth® Speaker, please clear it away.       2. The distance between the Bluetooth® unit and connected cell phone is too far away, out of normal connection range. Please put them nearer.   No voice after Bluetooth® is connected The audio feature of Bluetooth® unit is not activated after the Bluetooth® unit is connected to the cell phone, please turn on the output volume of cell phone.   Remarks: When the machine cannot work normally when the above-mentioned troubleshooting instructions are followed, please go to the technical professionals or after-sales service for help!
