This manual is available on our website www.psionteklogix.com through the Teknet extranet  Installation of the RFID Module LF-AIR200-G2-XMOD:  Easily installable expansion modules for the WORKABOUT PRO allow you to customise this hand-held to meet your specific mobile computing requirements. This chapter outlines how to install the RFID Module LF-AIR200-G2-XMOD and the external RFID Antenna LF-AEA120-G2.  Before installing a module in the WORKABOUT PRO G2, all power sources must be turned off.  •  Remove the batteries. If your unit is using AC power, disconnect it.    •  Slide the switch to position OFF to shut off internal battery power.    With the power shut down, you can install the RFID Module LF-AIR200-G2-XMOD.  •  Remove and discard the two screws on the bottom of the metal frame.        •  Put the adapter board in the same alignment of  the expansion connector on the WORKABOUT PRO. Apply slight pressure to snap the module into place on the hand-held.
October 23, 2007 DPD A00332 A00    Sheet 2 of 7  •  Use four screws provided to secure the module in place.    •  Stick the RFID Module LF-AIR200-G2-XMOD to the WORKABOUT PRO, as shown.    •  Fix it with the 2 added washers and screws.   •  Fix the four screws on the top of the end cap.

For  detailed  instructions,  pleased  refer  to  the  WORKABOUT  PRO  Hand-Held  Computer  User  Manual. These manuals are available on our website www.psionteklogix.com through the Teknet extranet  Installation of the external RFID Antenna LF-AEA120-G2:  •  The RFID Antenna LF-AEA120-G2 can easily be fixed to the reader by a so called Binder plug.  •  Hook the mounting plate of the AEA120 into the bottom of the Workabout PRO. Fit both together, so that the screw holes match.  •  Bolt the AEA120 to the Workabout.  •  Screw the silver cap off from the socket.
October 23, 2007 DPD A00332 A00    Sheet 4 of 7   •  Put the Binder plug of the telescope antenna in the socket of the RFID Module LF-AIR200-G2-XMOD.  •  Pay attention to the groove.  •  Follow the instructions of your Workabout PRO, to start a read.    READING AREA:  This  area depend of  the TAG  type, TAG packaging, configuration  of the WORKABOUT PRO (scanner, Compact flash…), environment (metallic or not).
