IntroductionGL100S is a powerful GPS locator which is designed for shoes and assets tracking.With superior receiving sensitivity, fast TTFF and GSM frequencies850/900/1800/1900MHz. Its location can be real time or schedule tracked by backendserver or specified terminals. Based on the embedded @Track protocol, GL100S cancommunicate with the backend server through GPRS/GSM network, and transfer reportsof emergency, Geo-fencing, device status and scheduled GPS position etc… Serviceprovider is easy to setup their tracking platform based on the functional @Track protocol.This device complies with part 15B of the FCC rules. GL100S User ManualTRACGL100SUM001 -7-AC-DC Power Adapter(Standard accessory)It is used to charge the internalbattery of GL100S.GL100S Data Cable It is the USB data cable which canbe used for firmware upgrading andconfiguration.(Please note , it onlyfor backend server developer oradministrator ,It is not in deliverylist of GL100S)3.2. Battery ChargingzPlease connect AC-DC power adapter with GL100S.zInsert the AC-DC power adapter into the power socket.zDuring charging, the PWR LED is flashing fast. When the battery is full charged, the PWR LEDwill be Ever-light.zCharging time is about 5 hours.Note: Before the first time using GL100S, please full charge the battery.3.3. Install SIM CardzFirst, open the cover of SIM card..zThen insert the SIM card into the slot of SIM card according to the direction shown.zFinally, cover the slot.3.4. Turn on/Turn offzTurn on:
GL100S User ManualTRACGL100SUM001 -8-Method 1: Press the Power key at least 3 seconds and release it to turn on GL100S. Atthe same time, PWR LED will light on.zTurn off:Method 1: Press the power key about 2 seconds; PWR LED will fast flash and then turnoff, it indicates that GL100S is turned off. The time of power off is depended on thequality of network. The maximum time of power off is 90 seconds. It is only valid toturn off when using internal battery. Please note the end-user can not power offGL100S when the power key is disabled by protocol.Note: Before power off one location message need to be send. When in a place the GSM signalis weak or no GSM network, the equipment will try 90s to send the message. After 90s, itwill power off immediately.

TroubleshootingTrouble Possible Reason SolutionAfter GL100S is turned on, theNet LED flashes quicklyalways.The SIM card is not inserted. Please insert the SIM card intoGL100S.The signal is too weak;GL100S can’t register to thenetwork.Please move GL100S intoplace with good GSMcoverage.PIN locked Using SIM card withoutSIM-PIN, or unlock SIM-PIN.Messages can’t be reported tothe backend server by GPRS.TheSIMcardinGL100Sdoesn’t support GPRS.Try a GPRS supported SIMcard.APN is wrong. Some APNcan not visit the internetdirectly.Ask the network operator forthe right APN.The IP address or port of thebackend server is wrong.Make sure the IP address forthe backend server is anidentified address in theinternet.Unable to power off GL100S. The function of power keywas disabled by AT+GTSFR.Enable the function of powerkey by AT+GTFKS.Unable to power off GL100Sif charger connected or usingexternal battery.Disconnect charger or externalbattery, and try again.No response from UART whenconfigure GL100S throughUARTGL100S is in power savingmode.Remove the Data_Cable, andplug it in again. After thisoperation, GL100S will exitfrom power saving mode for 10seconds.Re-try GL100S manager toolagain, it will try to wake updevice.GL100S can’t get successfulGPS fixing.The GPS signal is weak. Please move GL100S to aplace with open sky.It is better to let the top surfaceface to sky.

Safety infozPlease do not disassemble the device by yourself.zPlease do not put the device on the overheating or too humid place, avoid exposure to directsunlight. Too high temperature will damage the device or even cause the battery explosion.zPlease do not use GL100S on the airplane or near medical equipment.
