BlueDOT, batteries, PmrSerlesfi High Temp Straight Penetration Probe and this
instruction card.
Getting Started:
Turn BlueDUT on by pressing the power button located on the back. Bluemoth
is turned on by deiaultimm the iactory and you should see the Elueiooth icon
on the tell—hand side oi the dlsplay. To turn Bluemotb oii. press and hold the
power button and right arrow simultaneously ior 6 seconds. Repeat steps to
turn Bluetooth back on.
To connect your BlueDDT to your phone. download the ThermoWorks EEG and
lroiri the Apple App Store or Google Play Store Upon opening the app. you
will he pmrnpted to connect a device. Click on Cni‘ineol. This will take you the
Devices menu. The serlal number oi your ElueDOT wtll be shown in the list oi
Available Devices. Make sure the Bluetooth on your smart device is turned on.
Select the serial number related to your BliieDUT and it will now move to My
Devices. you are now corinemd and ready to use the app.
The Bluetoottl signal strength ior BIueDOT is 95-ieet line-oi—siotn However
it BlueDoT is close to other devices that also use radio lrequencies (such as
microwave ovens. cordless pirpnes, remake controls, ete.) urose devices may
create interlererlce. The signal can also be interrupted by the walls and building
malarial at your home. BlueDOT will easily Communicate through glass, but
doling on windows can inmriere writt the signal, The TherrnoWorks BED app
will noiily you ll the connection is lost and will automatically try to reconnect
with BlueDDT
Tips ior Ilsa:
- your BIueDOT’s body should not be aiiixed directly to a smoker or units lid
or lell in the smoker or oven. The high heat will melt the plaslic housing.
- Insert the probe so that the tip rests at the thickest part or the meat oriood.

- Set your desired alarm temperature. crieHecommended dpneness
