Connect to your iPod Thank you for purchasing your FM transmitter from RadioShack. Please read this user’s guide before installing, setting up, or using your new FM transmitter. Attempting to drive and scan your set at the same time can cause a serious traffic accident! Drive responsibly. To charge your iPod, connect the supplied USB cable to the transmitter and to your computer. Step 1: Connect the Transmitter Plug the FM transmitter into the iPod dock connector and begin playing music, the FM transmitter powers on and displays the last used frequency. To change the frequency, press or Note: If your FM transmitter does not power on after connecting to the iPod, press § on your iPod twice. Step 2: Tune Your Radio Tune your FM radio to the frequency displayed on the transmitter. Saving Frequencies 1. Press 2. Press and hold M until M1 flashes. 3. Step 3: Listen to Your Music or to tune the desired frequency. To listen to your music, use the volume controls on the radio to adjust the volume. Selecting a Saved Frequency Note: The volume control on your iPod does not control the sound on the radio. 1. Press M once for M1, M1 and its frequency appear. 2. Press M again for M2, M2 and its frequency appear. This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital device, pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC Rules.
