INSTALLING BATTERIES
WARNING: Dispose of old batteries promptly and properly. Do not burn or bury them.
CAUTIONS:
- Use only fresh batteries of the requhed size and recommended type.

bansrnitter and the Wave Jmnper. Batteries can leak chemicals that can destroy electronic parts.

Use a Pl'iililps head screw driverto remove the battery compartment cover located on the
back or the controler. Insert 1 WV.“ alkalire battery In the correct position as marked in
compartment Replace cover and screw.
WAVE JIIIAPEI INSTALLATION
1. Follow all operatirg instructions and precautions to charge your '9.6V'
rechargeable battery pack.
Note: most rechargeable batteries need charting when newly purchased.
2. Turn the tour battery comparlrnert look located on top of Wave Jumper to
remove balmy cover.
3. Insert fully charged battery pack irlo battery compartment and join the wire on the battery
pack with the wire inside the battery compartment ensuring the (+) and (-i ends match.
Replace battery oornparbnenl cover and tum the tour locks to tightly seal the compartment.
Tum battery compartment lock ii the way to lock battery pack in place.
RADIO comer. DRIVING
1. Slide ONIOFF to ON.
2. Fully extend the antenna on the transmitter and slide OFF/ON on the transmhter to Oil.
The indicator on the transmitter lights.
3. Use the transnitters control levers to move and steer the Wave Jumper. . Joystick B' i [l
4. Whentheboatgoesmrtsldethetransmllter‘s controlrange. itstops. Holdihetransmitberas
high as possible wilt the entenm vertical to try to reestablish contact. if you cannot. you
must move closer to the boat to control it again, but be carehrl not to wade into deep water
or strong currents.
5. When the batteries begin to lose power, the boat slows down. So you don‘t lose
your Wave Jumper. guide the boat to shore as soon as you notice it slowing down.
6. When you finish Giving the Wave Jumper, slde OFF/ON on the Wave Jumper and the transmitter to OFF.

Install fully charged rechargeable batteries into the Wave Jumper battery compartment and transmitter in the correct position as Indicated. ’
Install transmitter antenna as molested. Move power switcl'lee located on the top otthe Wave Jumper and lipid ot the transmitter to the . i}
