INSTALLING BATTERIES
WARNING: Dispose of old batteries promptly and progeny. Do not burn or bury them.
CAUTIONS:
. Use only fresh batteries otthe required size and recommended type.
. it you do not plan to use the Wave Jumper tor a week or more, remove the batteries from both the
transmitter and the Wave Jumper. Batteries can leak chemicals that can destry electronic parts.
CONTROLLER BATTERY INSTALLATION
Use a Phillips head screw driverto remove the battery compartment cover located on the
back of the controller. insert 1 “9V.' alkaline battery In the correct position as marked In
compartment Replace cover and screw.
WAVE JUMPER INSTALLATION
1. Follow all operating histructions and precautions to charge your '9.6V'
rechargeable battery pack
Note: most rechargeable batteries need charging when newly purchased,
2. Turn the four battery compartment lock located on top of Wave Jumper to
remove battery cover.
3. Insert fully charged battery pack Into battery compartment and loin the
wire on the battery pack with the wire Inside the battery compartment
ensuring the (+) and H ends match. Replace battery compartment
cover and turn the tour locks to tlghtty seal the compartment.
Turn battery compartment lock all the way to lock battery pack in place.
RADIO CONTROL DRIVING
1. Slide ON/CIFFIO ON.
2. Fully extend the antenna on the transmitter and slide OFF/ON on the transmitter to ON.
The indicator on the transmitter lights.
3. Use the transmitters control levers to move and steer the Wave Jumper.
4. When you finish driving the Wave Jumper, slide OFF/ON on the Wave Jumper and the
transmitter to OFF. .
WAVE JUMPER FUNCTION CONTROLS
Install fully charged rechargeable batteries into the Wave Jumper battery compartment
and transmitter in the correct position as indicated. Install transmitter antenna as indicated.
Move power switches located on the top ot the Wave Jumper and front of the transmitter
to the 'on' positions. Fully extend transmitter antenna. Place Wave Jumper on the water surface.
