The system will HOLD this temperature until you return to this screen

Comfort Level
There are three COMFORT level selections ECON, NORM . and LX. We reoommend
the NORM for most areas, LX lor severely cold areas (particularty with heat
pumps) and ECON for warm climates (uses less energy).
To Change the setting, with the MODE Switch in heat or cool, comm?“ Tm]
press the MENU button. The touch COMFORT level you want ‘—J‘—J1"—m
installations your heater system will step funcilonlng when the thermostat loses
power. Replace batteries as soon as you see this warning. The thermostat
Brograms will remain for 60 seconds while the batteries are changed,
0 not take longer than 30 sec to change the batteries in your unit or you will
lose all custom settings and all progmmmlng. Only the Energy-Star“ program will
remain. Once the batteries are replaced. the system will return to normal in 2
seconds.

Heal Pump Features
ll you have a heal pump with Auxiliary heal, lhe new sequential slaging will give you fasler
recovery from sel hacks. The lhermoslal can be configured lor Electric aux or gas/oil aux heal
(see Inslallalion). If lhe heat pump cannol maintain your desired room lempemlure, lhe new
system allows the Aux heal to help mainlain your heal all lhe way lo your desired room
iempemlure.
When using a heal pump wilh Auxiliary heat. iilhe heal pump is networking. you can shul off lhe
heat pump and use jusl your auxiliary heal; assuming lhe 6080 is set up for a heal pump (see
insiallalionjumper sel up lor heal pump). While at HOME screen. push lhe MENU button. The
ON HEAT PUMP icon Wi|| be shown (boilom of screen). Touch the HEAT PUMP ICON and it will
change (0 HEAT PUMP OFF. Then push HOME. Auxiliary heal is more expensive lhan lhe heal
pump, so lum lhe heal pump hack on as soon as possible.
UV BULB
Tne 6050 allows you lo keep track of lhe aoiual real llme of your Ulua \ficlet air purifier
and can remind you to periodically replaoe your UV-BULB.
Press MENU and louch UV—BULB icon.
This will display your accumulaled bulb running lime in weeks. Tc zero lhe UV»BULB
limer for a new bulb, touch lhe accumulated lime display. Tc lnpul a new UV—BULB life
time. touch lhe UV—BULB icon for 3 seeonds. Inpulthe llfe lime in weeks loryour new
UV—BULB to aciivale a reminder (UV-BULB icon on home screen)
To leave lhe UV—BULB display, (ouch lhe HOME buflun.
The 6080 allows on to keep track of lhe aclual humidileir run lime of your humidifier

RANDOMFAN
The RANDOM FAN tunction allows your tan to circulate alr for at least 5 minutes per
hour for better indoor air uality.
To turn it on or off, touch t e MENU button, and touch the RANDOM FAN Icon: the ON
icon will come be displayed. touch again to turn it oft. When the thermostat is controlling
the fan, the tan icon will indicate it Is running.
TRUE AUTO MODE
The 6080 can automaticall switch from HEAT to COOL, In addition to COOL and HEAT
modes, the 6080 TRUEA T0 made switches automatically between heat and oool. Auto
switching is normally limited in two ways. The COOL target cannot be any closer than 2F
or BF above the heat target, and the COOL programmed times must he the same as the
HEAT programmed times. Unlike all other manufactures. the 5080 TRUE AUTO has no
such temperature or time [imitations (Patent pending).
REMOTE CONTROL Channel selector
Note: The remote control cannot work unless the 0 wire is \1
connected from your HVAC (see installation guide) \
The 6000 comes with a 3 channel remote control with a range or as
much as 50 feet (walls may reduce this range). If there is interference
with the remote. or you are using more than one 6080, you can select a
different channel on the remote, The thermostats receive channel must
then be changed to match that channel by pushing the MENU button
and then touching the channel icon at the top right side of the screen. Battery install
Each time you touch it, it toggles to the next channel.
To use the remote, press up or down. there will be a delay, and then
the thermostats target temperature will temporally change one degree per ,
push of the remote. If you wish to restore the target to Its program setting. Q
fires the RESET button on the remote. If you do not use the RESET
utton, your change will stay until the next programmed period and go
back to the programmed target.
To activate the remote pull out the Iastic tab on the back to connect
its battery (Battery Type A23 (MN21) 2V). 9 1s

HUMIDISTAT
The 3080 has a built in humidistat to control an external humidifier for humidifying. To
set a minimum humidity level (with a humidifier installed) from the HOME screen. touch
the MENU button then touch the HUMIDITY icon. Touch MW and use me +I- buttons to
set the desired minimum humidity level. The 6080 can be set up to run the humidifier
whenever the humidistat calls for hurn' Ty (tan also runs) or can be set to run only
when the humidislat is calling for humidity and the heat is also lunning. (Refer
installation instruction humidlstat).
De-humidifyin?
The 6050‘s bu It in humldlstat can also control the Air Conditioner for de-humidifying. To
set a maximum humidity level (using the air conditioner) from the HOME screen, touch
the MENU button then touch the HUMIDITY icon. Touch MAX and use the +I— buttons
to set the desired maximum humidity level. The 6050 can be set up to run the air
conditioner whenever the humidistat calls in die-humidity or can be set to run the air
conditioner only when the humldistat calls to tie-humidity and the thermostat is also
calling tor COOL. (Refer Installation instruction Humidistat). P 18

This thermostat can be used with all millivolt and 24VAC heating and cooling systems. it
cannot be used with line voltage systems. This thermostat is digital and your desired heat or
cool temperatures can be easily be set on the large touch screen with the UP/DOWN arrows.
A minimum 4 minute oft time protects heating and cooling systems from damage.
When using a heat pump with Auxiliary heat. it the heat pump is not working, you can shut
oft the heat pump and use just your auxiliary heat; assuming
the 6080 is set up for a heat pump (see installation jumper
set up tor heat pump). While at HOME screen. push the
' MENU button. The ON HEAT PUMP icon will be shown
- (bottom 01 screen), Touch the HEAT PUMP [CON and it
will change to HEAT PUMP OFF Then push HOME.
Auxiliary heat is more expensive than the heat pump. so
turn the heat pump back on as soon as possible.

NOTE: Your thermostat comes trem the factory calibrated to + or - 1°r= actual
temperature. It is an accurate instrument. It you went yourmermostetto display the
same temperature as another thermometer in your home, you can adjust it. Maximum
