youcaninstallone,providedbyLenovo®asanoption.Plugthewirelessoption
adapterintothePCIExpressMiniCardslot.Fortheinstallationprocedure,see
“ReplacingawirelessLANcard”inUserGuide.
Attention:Thecomputercontainsanauthenticationmechanism.Ifyouinstall
anunauthorizedPCIExpressMiniCardthatisnotapprovedforuseinyour

5650to5850MHzbands.Theseradarstationscancauseinterferencewith

III.SimultaneoususeofRFtransmitters
YourcomputerisapprovedforsimultaneoususeoftheapprovedwirelessWAN
adapter,andoneoftheapprovedwirelessLANadapterorwirelessLAN/Bluetooth
comboadapter.Foralistofthosetransmitters,referto“I.Approvedwireless
devices”onpage1andThinkPadRegulatoryNoticefortheWirelessWANAdapter.
MakesureofthefollowingconditionswhenyouuseanyotherexternalRFoption
device:
1.WhenyouuseanyotherRFoptiondevice,youarerequestedtoconrm
thatthedeviceconformstotheRFSafetyrequirementandisapprovedto
useforyourcomputer.
2.YoumustfollowtheRFSafetyinstructionsoftheRFoptiondevicethatare
includedintheusermanualoftheRFoptiondevice.
3.IftheRFoptiondeviceisprohibitedtouseinconjunctionwithanother
