AdjustthegoggleFit.
Adjustthestrapslidersonyourgoggle’sstrap,sothatgogglefitscomfortablyand
securely.
TurnontheReconHUDbypushingthepowerbuttonontheright‐sideofthegoggle.
AdjusttheReconHUDorientation
WithyourfingersgentlyadjusttheorientationoftheReconHUDuntilthescreenisfully
visiblewhenyouarecomfortablywearingthegoggle.
PickaRemoteStrapandactivatetheremote
Chooseyourpreferredremotestrap(wristorgoggle)andsnap‐fititontotheremote.
Pressanybuttononremotetoturniton.

AfactoryresetclearsalldatathatyourReconHUDhasrecorded.Italsounpairstheremote,clearsyour
settings,uninstallsanythird‐partyapps,andrestoresthedevicebacktothedefaultsettingsandoriginal
firmwaretheHUDwasshippedwith.
Toperformafactoryreset,gotoSettings>Advanced>FactoryReset
IfyouareunabletoaccessSettings,pleasereadtheinstructionsbelowtoperformthemanual
factoryresetprocedureusingtheReconHUDpowerbuttonandremote.
Followeachsteppromptlytoensureresetissuccessful.Ifyoumissanysteps,pleasestartagain.
1. Poweroffyourdevicebeforeproceeding.
2. OpenthemicroUSBcovertoexposetheLEDcharginglight.
3. PressandholdtheReconHUDpowerbuttonuntiltheredLEDcharginglightblinks.
4. Letgoofthepowerbutton‐theredLEDwillstarttoflashquickly.
5. WhiletheredLEDlightisflashing,pressandholdtheReconHUDpowerbuttonfor3seconds.
6. Letgoofthepowerbutton‐theredandblueLEDlightswillblinkinunison.
7. Pressthepowerbuttononcetoinitiatethefactoryreset‐awhiteboxandanAndroidiconwill
appearonthedisplay(thismaytake2‐3minutestocomplete).
Note:youwillneedtopairyourremotewithyourHUDafterthefactoryresetiscomplete.

YourremoteautomaticallycomespairedwithyourReconHUD,butifyouperformafactoryresetor
happentoloseyourremoteandpurchaseanewone,youwillberequiredtopairyourremotetoyour
HUDagain.
Tounpairyourremote,simultaneouslypressandholdtheLeftandRightbuttonsonyourremoteunyou
seetheLEDIndicatoronyourremoteflashamber.YourReconHUDstatusbarwillhavetheremotenot
connectedicon
PairingyourRemotetoyourHUD
NotetheIDnumberonthebackoftheremoteprintedonawhitelabel.
1. PoweroffyourReconHUDandpoweritonagain.
2. PressanybuttonontheremoteandwaitforapromptonyourReconHUDtoselectoneormore
remoteIDnumbers.
3. UsetheReconHUDpowerbuttontoscrolltotheIDnumberthatcorrespondstoyourremote.A
countdownwillbegin‐waitforthecountertoreach“0”onyourReconHUDscreen.
4. Nowcheckiftheremoteispaired:

Storingyourdevice(off‐season)
YourReconHUDrequiresafullchargebeforestoringitforanextendedperiodoftime.Werecommend
youchargeyourdeviceonceevery2‐3monthsduringtheoff‐season.
Charging
TochargeyourdeviceusingaPCorMAC:
1. Turnonyourcomputerandpoweroffyourdevice(ensureyoucomputerisnotinstand‐bymode)
2. FirstconnectthemicroUSBcabletoyourdevicethenplugtheUSBcableintotheUSBportonyour
computer.
3. CheckthataredLEDlightabovetheUSBportappears‐thisshowsthatyourdeviceischarging.
4. KeepcharginguntiltheredLEDlightturnsoff‐thisindicatesyourdeviceisfullycharged.
5. Ifyourcomputerdoesnotrecognizeyourdevice,tryreinsertingtheUSBcable.
TochargeyourdeviceusinganACadapter:
1. Poweroffyourdevice.ConnectthemicroUSBcabletoReconHUDthenplugtheUSBcableintotheAC
