Remote Control Functions —1030RF
The leoFtF allows you to control the basic lunc’tions ol
the ICSOIO such as:
' POWER (on/off)
' MODE Mode Select
(TUNE>CD>CDC>AV>AUX)
- 1 - 6 (six preset stations)
~ D.DN (CDC previous disc)
- D.UP (CDC next disc)
- PGM (program track play)
- RPT (oontinuuusly repeat the same track)
- RDM (play all tracks on current CD in random order)
' INT (play lirst ten seconds of each track on current CD)
~ MUTE (silence receiver)
- BAND (AM or FM bands)
- SEL Function Select
(VOL > THE > BAS > BAL > FAD)

Remote Control - |c3on|=
The lCaORF is an optional radio frequency remote control. Unlike an inhared remote control. the
lCaOFtF can operate the Intellicar’“ system lrom anywhere in or near the vehicle and is not |tmilEd to
line-of-sight between the remote and the head unit.You can operate the remote control lrorn the back
seat (or any seat) and not worry about pointing the remote control at the head unit. The RF Remote
Control system includes a transmitter (the remote control device) and a receiver (the module that
connects to the Intellicarw bus). To operate the lcaoRF simply connect the module (receiver) to the
lntellioarm bus and install batteries in the remote control (transmitter); the “RF REMOTE" ioon appears
in the display.

Press MODE until AN appears in
the display.
To access the AN mode the
lCZOAV module must be connected
to the lntelliz:arm bus.
When the ICZOAV is connected the SOURCE
icon window appears in the display.

Note:
When A/V Mode is selected the audio signal
coming from the A/V Source Selector is
considered the primary audio source.
The audio sound track (AVt, AV2. Ava. AV4)
trom the source selector will be heard
simultaneously through the vehicle speakers
and optional wireless headphones.
Source Audio
This iunction allows a primary source to be
heard through the optional wireless
headphones connected to the Intellicarm.
When Source Audio is activated S—A (source
audio) appears in the main display and A_S
(audio source) appears in the sub display.
Depending on the display priority you choose
(TIM or FREQ) you will see both SA and
A_S in the display or just the A_S.
Note:
The Source Audio option is only active when
the ICZOAV module is connected to me
lntellicar'" bus.
In order for the AN mitten to function, the
ICZOAV source selector must be connected to
the intellicar‘" bus.

Primary Source
A pnrnary source is considered one oi the
iollowing:
- Tuner AMlFM (T UN)
0 CD Player (CD)
0 CD Changer (CDC)
0 AN (Only considered a primary source
when AN mode is selected.)
- Auxiliary Input (AUX)
For example, it a back seat passenger
wanted to listen to the radio through the
optional wireless headphones, but the driver
desired silence‘while driving in heavy trattic:
1. Select tuner mode on head unit.
2. Turn the volume on the head unit down
until “1" appears in the display.
3. Press the AN button until the SOURCE
window appears with no additional icons
inside.
4. The tuner can now be heard through the
wireless headphones.
Note:
The volume on the head unit must be set to
at least “1' or else all audio signals will be
‘7nuted.’

Selector
The optional Intellicar” AudioNideo Source Selector integrates video based multimedia into the mobile
environment. The ICZOAV can accommodate up to tour diflerent AN input sources such as a VCR,
DVD, video game or navigation. Only one of the tour AN inputs can be viewed at a time. When the
ICZOAV module is connected to the lntellicar'M bus. the “SOURCE" icon window appears in the display.
For the |C20AV AudioNideo Source Selector to operate you must have:
- at least one TV or monitor installed.
- ICZOAV AudioNideo Source Selector module connected to the Intellioerm bus.
- at least one NV source connected to the ICQOAV Source Selector (VCR, DVD, video game,
navigation).

Wireless Heacbhones — lC40HP
The lC4OHP is an optional 900 MHz wireless headphone module. Wireless headphones allow private
listening or allow occupanw to listen to two dilierenl sources simultaneously, one source through the
vehicle speakers and one source through the Wireless Headphones, The IC40HP includes a
transmitter (the module that connects to the lntellicar“ bus) and a receiver (the wireless headphones).
To operate the ICAOHP simply connect the module (transmitter) to the lntellioar'M bus and install
batteries in the head phones; the “HD PHONE" ioon appears in the display
