It isprogrammed to check the alarm condition when it is first turned onand then every 75 seconds thereafter to extend the battery life. Toavoid waiting the 75 seconds, place the flood sensor in water andt hen turn on the units. If the receiver flashes and the transmitterbeeps, your unit is operating properly.
The transmitter and receiver must be reset by turning both units offand then back on.IMPORTANTIMPORTANTIMPORTANTIMPORTANTNOTENOTENOTENOTEWhen the sensing monitor transmitter is triggered by low temperature orwater, it will emit a continuous sharp beeping sound. To reset the unitand stop the beeping, turn the unit OFF and then ON. The transmitterwill not monitor the alarm condition(s) until this is done.
