These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a residential installation. This equipment generates, uses and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio communications. However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular installation. If this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or television reception, which can be determined by turning the equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more of the following measures: Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna. Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver. Connect the equipment into an outlet on a curcuit different from that to which the receiver is needed. Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help. 2. User Setup Congratulate on buying one of the successful products from Remotec Technology Ltd. BW2100 is a two buttons, direct replacement for the digital radio transmitters from many brands. The following steps will help you setup the garage door opener. - a) Unscrew the top cover and open up the unit, one should see the features as illustrated below. Button K1 and K3 can be configured independently to simulate different brands of garage door opener. This allows you to work with different brands of receiver with only one transmitter. Switches E to ii is for selecting manufacturer of your receiver. The tables below summarised the settings that you need to configure your transmitter. Then set switches E to H as shown in table 1 to match the brand of your receiver. d) Most digital transmitters will have 9 or 12 code switches inside similar to switch 1 as shown above. Move the coding switches (labeled 1- 12 of SWl) to match the setting of your existing unit‘ You will only need to set the same number of DIP switches as in the original transmitter. Fer- example, if your unit has only' 9 switches, just set the first 9 SWi.tches of SWI the remaining switches can be left in any position. Note that the switches of SWl have 3 settings, ‘+‘ Middle and ‘- -'. if your or.iginal transmitter’ s DIP switches have only two settings, be sure that the DIP SWitches are set either all the way to ‘+' or ‘-'. The LED will flashes twice slowly after a successful storing process. The LED will flashes several times quickly if the storing process is wrong or failed, this may be due to incorrect setting of manufacturer (SW2) or damage of the unit. After storing a code, release all keys and repeat the setup procedure again to store for key ‘K3'. Note that different code settings can be stOIed into ‘K1’ and ‘K3'. The LED will flashes several times quickly if no code was stored in the key. 3) Operation After setup the garage door opener, simply press ‘Kl' or ‘K3’ (but not both), the code stored in those keys will be transmitted and the LED will lights up to confirm of your key press. For best result. horizontally clip your transmitter under the shade cover near the windshield. The front of the transmitter should points towards the windshield. The shade cover will help buffer any shock that occurs to the transmitter during driving. To operate, press ‘Kl’ or ‘K3' with only ONE hand for transmission . The other hand should be on the driving wheel for safety. 4) Precautions 1. Keep water away from this product as much as possible. Continual exposure to rainwater may damage the product. 2. Do not expose the product to direct sunlight for days or even months. Clipping the transmitter under shade cover will minimize continual sunlight exposure. 3. Low battery power is indicated by continued short range, intermittent operation. When battery replacement is necessary, open switch access» cover used to configure the transmitter. Remove old batterie and replace with fresh 9V battery (preferably alkaline type). 4. Do not let the transmitter hangs around freely inside the car. Shocks during driving may damage the product. Knocking down of the transmitter during driving may also cause distractions to the driver. 5) warning} Changes or modifications to this unit not expressly approved by the party responsible for compliance could void the user's authority to operate the equipment.
