RE220-LS Wireless Security Sensor and Zwave Repeater
Features:
• Listens to other Lifeshield wireless devices and senosrs, and re-transmits them to the
main control panel.
• Extends range of system.
• No enrollment required to start repeating sensor signals.
• Received ID's are passed on unchanged to the security panel. All sensor alarms,
supervisory, and trouble signals are passed through.
• Repeater has its own unique ID for supervisories, complete reporting of main device
tamper, external power supply fault and low battery if desired.
• Dual antennas for both Receive and Transmit diversity for increased range.
• Back-up battery protects during loss of external power.
• After simple inclusion into an existing Zwave network, will act as active listening
repeater Zwave device on the network filling in range gaps between other distant
devices.
Key Instructions:
• Attached external supply.
• Install internal battery backup.
• Enroll sensors into panel as normal, the repeater should be transparent to other
devices.
• Optionally enroll repeater into security panel:
◦ Put security panel into enrollment mode, then press the red reset button on the
repeater. This will put the repeater into enrollment mode to report back
supervisories, battery information and tamper conditions.
• To repeat zwave signals, repeater must be enrolled into local network.
◦ Put zwave into enrollment mode on the security panel, then press the red reset
button on the repeater. This will also put the zwave repeater into enrollment
mode to be included onto the local network.
LED Operation:
• Blue LED indicates power
• Green LED flashes to indicate a security sensor signal was received
• Red LED flashed to indicate that signals are being sent out (repeated)
