UID LL IN STA RE318 DSC® Compatible Trident™ Environmental Sensor Trident is an integrated environmental sensor. It detects water and reports extreme temperature conditions. Features • • • • Titanium probes for unmatched corrosion immunity IP67 rated waterproof enclosure GORE® vent equalizes enclosure pressure 5 year warranty Enroll by placing the panel into wireless enrollment mode and then sending an enrollment signal from the sensor. The flood zone is enrolled by removing the battery tabs or tamper the sensor. The freeze and heat zones are enrolled by removing the sensor cover and shorting the desired terminals. ESN ID Configuration • Flood zone is the serial number shown on the device • Freeze zone is the serial number with last digit replace with a 1. • Heat zone is the serial number with last digit replace with a 2. Install by placing the sensor in the location requiring water or air Wall Clip temperature detection. If desired, the wall clip can be used to secure the Trident sensor. Optional Wall Clip Securing • Remove the Trident body from wall clip. • Secure wall clip to a wall surface withwith a #6a screw. #6 mounting • Example screw. securing locations are a wall, baseboard • or Example cupboard. securing locations: wall, baseboard or Detects water pooled under the sensor and reports extreme air temperature conditions. Mounting Screw Hole Temperature Trip Points • Heat alarms when over 100.4° F (38° C) • Heat restores when under 96.8° F (36° C) • Freeze alarms when under 44.6° F (7° C) • Freeze restores when over 48.2° F (9° C) To replace the battery, insert a flat blade screwdriver into the front slot and twist. To reinstall the cover, align the rear latches and roll the cover forward until it snaps into place. Front slot Verify proper enrollment and operation using your control panel’s installation manual.
