SETUP

SETUP QUICK MOUNT
Squeeze both the quick release
buttons on the back of the motor,
and pull camera o the mount.
On the underside of the camera, slide
the motor lock towards the front of the
camera then twist the aluminum band
to unscrew the motor.
NOTICE: The camera is not waterproof
when the motor is unscrewed.
NOTICE: Be careful to not let any water or
debris inside the camera.
Slide the battery door lock inwards
then gently open the battery door.
Insert the MicroSD card into the slot
and push it in until you hear a click.
To remove, push it in again until you
hear a click and it will pop out.
Place the battery inside the cage
with the pins aligned correctly.
Line up the holes on the back of the
motor to the quick mount pins, then
insert the pins into the camera and
apply pressure until you hear a click.
Power On: Power the camera on by
pressing the shutter button.
Record Video: Press the shutter again
to start recording.
Take Photo: Press the shutter twice to
snap a photo.
Tag Moment: While recording, press the
menu button to tag a moment.
Access Menu: While on standby, press
the menu button to access menu.

Camera Warnings
Exercise caution when using your Revl camera as part of your active lifestyle. Always be
aware of your surroundings to avoid injury to yourself and others.
Observe proper precautions when handling batteries. Batteries may leak or explode if
improperly handled.
Observe the following precautions to avoid a camera explosion or fire:
• Do not drop, disassemble, open, crush, bend, deform, puncture, shred, microwave,
incinerate, or paint the camera.
• Do not insert foreign objects into any opening on the camera, such as the USB port,
microSD card port, or battery compartment.
• Do not use the camera if it has been damaged—for example, if cracked, punctured, or
harmed by water. Disassembling or puncturing the battery (whether integrated or
removable) can cause an explosion or fire.
• Do not dry the camera or battery with an external heat source such as a microwave of
hair dryer.
WARNING: Do not place naked flame sources, such as lighted candles, on or near the
product.
When charging the camera do not handle the plug or charger with wet hands. Failure to
observe this precaution could result in electric shock.
Using an incorret wall charger can damage the Revl camera, or the battery, and could
result in fire or leakage. Only use chargers marked: DC Output 5V 1A, 5V 1.5A, or 5V 2A. If
you do not know the voltage (V) and current (A) of your charger, use the included USB
cable to charge the camera from your computer.
If using your camera with a Revl helmet mount, always select a helmet that meets the
applicable safety standard. Choose the right helmet for your particular sport or activity and
make sure that it is the right fit and follow the helmet manufacturer’s instructions on safe
helmet use. Any helmet that has sustained a major impact should be replaced. No helmet
can protect against injury in every accident.
Your Revl camera lens and lens protector is glass. Should the lens or lens protector break,
care should be taken to avoid injury due to broken glass. Keep out of reach of children.
The temperature icon will appear on the camera display when the camera becomes too
hot and needs to cool down. Simply let it sit and cool before attempting to use it again.
CAUTION: When using Revl products near another device, read that devices user guide for
any safety instructions. To limit potential interference with digital transceivers such as
avalanche beacons, consult with the transceivers user manual regarding the use of other
GPS, WiFi, or Bluetooth electronic devices such as the Revl Camera, when engaged in the
avalanche beacon search mode. Power your camera o whenever it is forbidden to use it
or when it may cause interference.
NOTICES: Avoid exposing your camera or battery to very cold or very hot temperatures.
Low or high temperature conditions may temporarily shorten the battery life or cause the
camera to temporarily stop working properly. Avoid dramatic changes in temperature or
humidity when using the camera, as condensation may form within the product. Abide by
all local laws when using your Revl camera and related mounts and accessories, including
all privacy laws, which may restrict recording in certain areas.

• Do not block any ventilation openings, it may cause damage to the camera and yourself.
• Do not install camera near any high heat sources such as radiators and stoves.
• Protect the power cord from being walked on or pinched particularly at the plugs,
convenience receptacles, and the point where they exit from the apparatus.
• Only use attachments/accessories specified by the manufacturer
• Unplug the apparatus during lighting storms or when unused for long periods of time.
• Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel. Servicing is required when the
apparatus has been damaged in any way, such as when the plug is damaged, liquid has
been spilled or objects have fallen into the apparatus, or the apparatus does not operate
normally or has been dropped.
`BATTERY WARNINGS
WARNING: The battery pack shall not be exposed to excessive heat such as sunshine, fire
or the like.
• Do not dismantle, open or shred battery pack or cells.
• Do not expose batteries or a battery pack to heat or fire. Avoid storage in direct sunlight.
• Do not short-circuit the battery. Do not store batteries in a box or drawer where they may
short-circuit each other or be short-circuited by other metal objects.
• Do not remove a battery from its original packaging until required for use.
• Do not subject batteries to mechanical shock.
• In the event of a battery leaking, do not allow the liquid to come in contact with the skin
or eyes. If contact has been made, wash the aected area with copious amounts of water
and seek medical advice.
• Do not use any charger other than specified for use with the equipment.
• Observe the plus (+) and minus (-) marks on the battery and equipment and ensure
correct use.
• Do not use any battery pack or cell which is not designed for use with the product.
• Do not mix cells of dierent manufacturers, capacity, size, or type within a device.
• Seek medical advice immediately if a battery has been swallowed.
• Always purchase correct battery for the equipment.
• Keep batteries dry and clean.
• Wipe the battery terminals with a clean dry cloth if they become dirty.
• Batteries need to be charged before use. Always use the correct charger and refer to the
manufacturers instructions or equipment manual for proper charging instructions.
• Do not leave a battery on prolonged charge when not in use.
• After extended periods of storage, it may be necessary to charge and discharge the
batteries several times to obtain maximum performance.
• Batteries give their best performance when they are operated at normal room
temperature 68°F (20°C).
• Do not operate the device outside the following temperature range:
14ºF to 113°F (-10ºC to 45°C)
• Do not charge the battery outside the follwing temperature range:
32ºF to 113ºF (0ºC to 45ºC)
• Use the battery only in the application for which it was intended.
• When possible, remove the battery from the equipment when not in use.
• The battery provided with your system is not serviceable. Contact Revl Customer Service
for all battery related issues.
• Do not store your battery with metal objects such as coins, keys, necklaces. If the battery
terminals come in contact with metal objects, this may cause a fire.
• Keep the battery dry. The camera protects the battery from water damage. Do not get the
battery wet. Failure to observe this precaution could result in a fire or electric shock.
Damage to the battery caused by contact with liquid is not covered by the warranty.
• Only use Authentic Revl Batteries.
WARRANTY + DISCLAIMERS
Limited Warranty: Revl warrants all products sold by Revl to be free of defects in material
and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase (date of shipping in
the case of pre-orders) unless otherwise specified on the product. If a product is found to
be defective by Revl, in its sole discretion, Revl’s only responsibility will be to replace the
defective product. Revl will not be responsible for any costs, losses or damages incurred
because of the loss or use of any of its products, and Revl specifically disclaims all claims
for consequential and incidental damages.
This limited warranty is subject to several important restrictions:
• This limited warranty only applies to products purchased directly from Revl or from a Revl
Authorized Reseller.
• This limited warranty is valid only for the original purchaser of a product, and it cannot be
transferred to another person upon the sale, lease, or transfer of the product.
• This limited warranty does not cover normal wear and tear.
• This limited warranty does not apply to anything other than defects in the manufacturing
and workmanship of the product.
• The limited warranty is waived if you seek to repair the product using anything other than
approved Revl products and services, or if you seek to combine the product with any third
party product.
• If, upon its inspection, Revl discovers that you have modified, changed, or altered the
product in any way, this limited warranty is waived.
Revl gives no warranty regarding the life of the batteries used in its products. Actual
battery life may vary depending on a number of factors, including the configuration and
usage of a product. You use our products at your own discretion and risk. You will be solely
responsible for (and Revl disclaims) any and all loss, liability or damages resulting from your
use of our products, including loss of life, personal injury, or the loss of or damage to
computer, mobile device, and all other property. Revl does not guarantee or promise any
specific level of performance or battery life associated with the use of its products or any
feature of them. ALL WARRANTIES IMPLIED BY STATE LAW, INCLUDING THE IMPLIED
WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ARE
HEREBY LIMITED TO THE DURATION OF THE LIMITED WARRANTY. SOME STATES DO
NOT ALLOW LIMITATIONS ON HOW LONG AN IMPLIED WARRANTY LASTS, SO THE
ABOVE LIMITATION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. WITH THE EXCEPTION OF ANY
WARRANTIES IMPLIED BY STATE LAW AS HEREBY LIMITED, THE FOREGOING LIMITED
WARRANTY IS EXCLUSIVE AND IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, GUARANTEES,
AGREEMENTS AND SIMILAR OBLIGATIONS OF MANUFACTURER OR SELLER.
European Union Customers: Revl warrants all products sold by Revl to be free of defects
in material and workmanship for a period of two (2) years from the date of purchase (date
of shipping in the case of pre-orders). The guarantee is governed by the following terms
and conditions. Revl guarantees that for a period of two (2) years from the original date of
purchase, your Revl will be free of defects in materials and workmanship under normal use
and provided it has been used in accordance with the instructions in the relevant Revl user
manual. In the event of a defect, contact Revl Customer Support (revl.com/help) for
assistance and be prepared to present the original purchase receipt. Revl’s sole obligation
under this guarantee will be, at its option, to repair or replace the defective product. This
guarantee does not apply to products damaged by misused accident, or normal wear and
tear. This guarantee does also not apply to products damaged as a result of repair works
not performed by Revl or an authorized Revl dealer.
