Setting Your Remote Dip Switches
Your dip switches control the radio frequency signal that is used to control your
ceiling fan. The dip switches in the remote should be the same as the dip
switches/pin jumpers in the receiver that is installed in your ceiling fan.
1. Remove the battery compartment cover.
2. Set the dip switches in the remote to the same code
as the dip switches in the receiver.
This remote is only compatible with two kinds of Frequency
System: 303.875-304MHz and 350MHz.
Note: If your ceiling fan receiver is provided with five code
switches and frequency 303.875-304MHz, slide the first code
switch to ON position and slide other four code switches to the
same positions as set on the transmitter.
Battery Installation
Your Universal Remote requires 4 new AAA alkaline batteries.
To install the batteries:
1. Match the batteries to the + and - marks inside the battery case,
then insert the batteries.
2. Replace the battery cover.
Dip Switches
Programming For TV
1. Manually turn on the TV.
Find the three-digit code for your TV in the code list below.

LIGHT
2. Press and hold the SET button; meanwhile, press and release
the TV button, until the INDICATOR LIGHT lights, then release
the SET button.
3. Enter the code using the Number Buttons.
After your code is entered, the INDICATOR LIGHT will turn off.
Note: If your code is unavailable, the INDICATOR LIGHT will
blink twice then remain lit. Please repeat the step 3.
4. Aim the remote at your TV and press the POWER button.
Your TV should turn off.
Note: If your TV does not respond, try all the codes for your brand.
If the codes do not work, or your brand is not listed,
try the Code Search method on page xx.

Programming For FAN
1. Manually turn on the FAN.
Find the three-digit code for your FAN in the code list below.
2. Press and hold the SET button; meanwhile, press and release
the FAN button, until the INDICATOR LIGHT lights, then
release the SET button.

3. Enter the code using the Number Buttons.
After your code is entered, the INDICATOR LIGHT will turn off.
Note: If your code is unavailable, the INDICATOR LIGHT will
blink twice then remain lit. Please repeat the step 3.
4. Aim the remote at your FAN and press the POWER button.
Your FAN should turn off.
Note: If your FAN does not respond, try all the codes for your brand.
If the codes do not work, or your brand is not listed,
try the Code Search method on page xx.

Programming With Code Search
If your TV, VCR, DVD or Cable/Satellite doesn’t respond after you have tried all the
codes for your brand, or if your brand is not listed, try searching for your code by
following the steps below.
Note: The code search function is not available for the fan device.
1. Turn on the device you wish to program.
2. Press and hold the SET button; meanwhile, press and release
the device button for the device you are programming
(TV, VCR, DVD or Cable/Satellite ).
Until the INDICATOR LIGHT lights, then release the SET button.
3. Press and release the SET button again to start the search action.
The INDICATOR LIGHT will keep blinking.

4. Press and release the POWER button until your device turns off.
5. When your device turns off, press and release the device button
to store the code. The INDICATOR LIGHT will turn off to indicate
the code search is completed.
Note: While pressing the POWER button to search your device code, you may also
advance to the proper code quickly by pressing the SET button to change the
searching direction forward or backward.

Retrieving Codes
If you need to find the three-digit code for your TV, VCR, DVD, Cable/Satellite or
FAN after your device is set-up, use this procedure.
1. Press and release the device button.
2. Press and hold the SET button, then press and release
the Number Buttons (1, 2 or 3) to retrieve the digit of
the code which you want (First, second or third).
3. Release the SET button, the number of times which the
INDICATOR LIGHT blinks is the digit of your code.
Off Blink Once
Note: If the INDICATOR LIGHT does not blink, that means the digit is “ 0 “.
4. Repeat the above steps until you have retrieved all three numbers in the code.
Blink Nine Times
Button Function
INPUT - Press the INPUT button to switch viewing
between television and other devices.
POWER - Press the POWER button to turn off or on the
selected device. Note: May only turn the device
off. Try the device button to turn the device on.
TV - Press the TV button to select the television to control.
VCR - Press the VCR button to select the VCR to control.
DVD - Press the DVD button to select the DVD to control.
CBL/SAT - Press the CBL/SAT button to select the
cable/satellite to control.
FAN - Press the FAN button to select the ceiling fan to
control.
PIP - Press the PIP button to turn on or off the
picture-in-picture feature.
SWAP - Press the SWAP button to exchange the view in the
picture- in-picture with the view on the main
television screen.
MENU - Press the MENU button to view the selected
device’s menu.
CLEAR - Press the CLEAR button to exit the selected
device’s menu.
DIRECTION KEYS - Press the DIRECTION KEYS to
move the cursor in the menu screens and
program guide of the selected device.
SELECT - Press the SELECT button to select items from
the selected device’s screen menu
CHANNEL - Press the CHANNEL button to select the next
higher or lower channel.
FLIP - Press the FLIP button to display the previous
television channel.
INFO - Press the INFO button to display information on the
selected device.
MUTE - Press the MUTE button to turn off or on the sound.
VOLUME - Press the VOLUME button to raise or lower
the volume.
REW - Press the REW button to fast rewind on your
selected device.
STOP - Press the STOP button to stop your selected device.
FFD - Press the FFD button to fast forward on your selected
device.
PAUSE - Press the PAUSE button to pause on your screen
while using your selected device.
PLAY - Press the PLAY button to play while using your
selected device.
REC - Press the REC button to record your VCR.
NUMBER BUTTONS - Press the NUMBER BUTTONS to
manually enter the channel numbers.
ENTER - Press the Enter button after entering channel
numbers if necessary.
LIGHT - Press the LIGHT button to turn your light off or
on.
Press and hold the LIGHT button to dim
or brighten the light.
HI - Press the HI button to select your fan on high speed.
MED - Press the MED button to select your fan on medium
speed.
LO - Press the LO button to select your fan on low speed.
OFF - Press the OFF button to turn off your fan.
IMPORTANT NOTE: To comply with the FCC RF exposure compliance
requirements, no change to the antenna or the device is permitted. Any
change to the antenna or the device could result in the device exceeding
the RF exposure requirements and void user’s authority to operate the
device.

Troubles Shooting
Indicator light not blinking
when you press any button.
1. Check that batteries are properly installed.
2. Replace the batteries with 4 new AAA Alkaline
batteries.
The remote does not
operate your device.
1. Try all the codes listed for your brand.
2. Try the Code Search method (page xx).
No performing commands
properly.
Start Code Search over again to locate the proper code.
Nothing happens when
operating ceiling fan.
1. Make sure dip switches in both the transmitter and
receiver are set to the same code.
2. Make sure ceiling fan is initially set on high speed.
No respond after pressing
a button.
1. Make sure you have new batteries, and you are
aiming your remote at your device.
2. Check that batteries are properly installed.
Note: reprogramming may be required after batteries are removed.
