User’s manual
Product: Wireless LAN Module
Model: LBWB1ZZWU6
FCC ID: BBP-WLALT01
IC: 144D-WLALT01
For OEM integration only – device cannot be sold to general public.
Therefore we will not supply the User’s manual, the installation manual is the official for OEM.
(Note)
This module was granted as FCC/IC Limited Modular Approval. Additional host systems must be required reassessment of Dynamic Frequency Selection
and host systems must provide regulated supply voltages to the module. Separate evaluation must be required for any portable configuration. When used
in mobile applications, the antennas shown in this filing must be installed to provide a separation distance of at least 20 cm from all persons. OEM
integrators and end-users must be provided with specific information required to satisfy RF exposure compliance for the final host device. OEM
integrators are instructed to ensure that the end user has no manual instructions to remove or install the device. The antenna of this device must not be
co-located or used in conjunction with any other antenna or transmitter. OEM integrators must be provided with antenna installation instructions. Only
those antennas tested with the device or similar antennas with equal or lesser gain may be used with this transmitter.
This device complies with the Dynamic Frequency Selection (DFS) requirements of Report and Order FCC 03-287 as a Client only without Radar Detection.
We will ask OEM to include the following Notices required by FCC/ IC on the product and in the User’s manual.
■Requirement of Labeling
(For FCC)
Please describe the following item on the host device of the this module:
Contains Transmitter Module FCC ID: BBP-WLALT01
or
Contains FCC ID: BBP-WLALT01
This device complies with part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject to the following two conditions:
(1) This device may not cause harmful interference, and (2) this device must accept any interference received, including
interference that may cause undesired operation.
(For IC)
Please describe the following item on the host device of the this module:
Contains Transmitter Module IC: 144D-WLALT01
or
Contains IC: 144D-WLALT01
■Requirement of User’s Manual Statement
(For FCC)
User’s manual shall contain following sentence
FCC CAUTION
Changes or modifications not expressly approved by the party responsible for compliance could void the user’s authority to operate the equipment.
This transmitter must not be co-located or operated in conjunction with any other antenna or transmitter.
This equipment complies with FCC radiation exposure limits set forth for an uncontrolled environment and meets the FCC radio
frequency (RF) Exposure Guidelines in Supplement C to OET65. This equipment should be installed and operated keeping the
radiator at least 20cm or more away from person’s body (excluding extremities: hands, wrists, feet and ankles).
5.15-5.25GHz band is restricted to indoor operations only.
(For IC)
Indicate the following information.
This device complies with Industry Canada licence-exempt RSS standard(s). Operation is subject to the following two conditions: (1) this
device may not cause interference, and (2) this device must accept any interference, including interference that may cause undesired
operation of the device.
* It can be also indicated on the equipment in place of the manual
- For the transmitter which can replace the antenna by end user
Indicate the following information.
Under Industry Canada regulations, this radio transmitter may only operate using an antenna of a type and maximum (or lesser) gain
approved for the transmitter by Industry Canada. To reduce potential radio interference to other users, the antenna type and its gain should be
so chosen that
the equivalent isotropically radiated power (e.i.r.p.) is not more than that necessary for successful communication.
* It is unnecessary if the application document shows end user cannot replace and modify the antenna.
Indicate the following information.
This radio transmitter (identify the device by certification number, or model number if Category II) has been approved by Industry Canada to
operate with the antenna types listed below with the maximum permissible gain and required antenna impedance for each antenna type
indicated. Antenna types not included in this list, having a gain greater than the maximum gain indicated for that type, are strictly prohibited for
use with this device.
Antenna type: Chip dielectric antenna
Gain: 2.4GHz: -0.5 dBi, W52/53: -0.3dBi, W56: -1.2dBi, W58: -1.7dBi
Antenna Type: Chip dielectric antenna
Gain: 2.4GHz: -0.5 dBi, W52/53: -0.3dBi, W56: -1.2dBi, W58: -1.7dBi
* It is necessary if the equipment has a lot of antennas and end user can select the antenna.
*The manufacturer shall provide a list of all antenna types approved for use with the transmitter, indicating the maximum permissible antenna gain (in dBi) and
required impedance for each.
This equipment complies with IC radiation exposure limits set forth for an uncontrolled environment and meets RSS-102 of the IC radio frequency (RF)
Exposure rules. This equipment should be installed and operated keeping the radiator at least 20cm or more away from person’s body (excluding
extremities: hands, wrists, feet and ankles).
