tone generation technology. This digital piano lets you record your
performances and Registration settings to a USB Disk. Each user

You are no doubt eager to play your piano, but first please make
sure you have completed the following basic setup steps:
1) Follow the assembly instructions as outlined on page 69 in the
appendix of this manual.
2) Once the piano is securely assembled, connect the plug of the
foot pedal unit to the pedal jack on the rear panel.
3) Plug in the included power chord to the bottom of the piano body
as illustrated below. Position the piano in the desired location,
making sure that the power chord can reach a AC power
connection point. fl

4) Then plug the other end of the power cable into the AC power
outlet.
NOTE
1.Ensure the piano is turned off when connecting and disconnecting
the power.
2.Turn the volume knob to its minimum level before turning on
the power.

Press the [POWER] button to turn on the power and the LCD
display will light.

Your piano will switch off automatically in 30 minutes after no
any operation on it. In this case, press the [POWER] button
again to turn on the power.
NOTE
When you are playing the Demo song, it will not switch off
automatically in 30 minutes after no any operation on it.
Deactivate Auto Standby Function

Foot Pedals
Connect the plug of the foot peda unit to the pedal jack in the
button panel.

Damper Pedal (Right)
It performs the same function as the damper pedal on an actual
acoustic piano, letting you sustain the sound of the voices even
after releasing your fingers from the keys.

If you play a note or chord on the keyboard and press the
sostenuto pedal while the notes are held, those notes will be
sustained as long as the pedal is held, but all subsequently
played notes will not be sustained.

The Soft Pedal controls the sound volume. Press the pedal to
decrease the output sound volume.
Adjust the Volume
Use [MASTER VOLUME] control to adjust the volume to your
desired level.

Adjust the Sound
The [TREBLE] fader can be used to adjust the sound of the piano.
If the TREBLE fader is pushed to the far left the high frequency of
the sound will be decreased, if it is pushed to the right, the high
frequency will be increased. Pushing the [BASS] fader to the left
will decrease the bass frequency while turning it to the right will
increase the bass frequency.

The piano features a connection box which allows you to connect
external audio equipment, a computer, other MIDI equipment or
headphones. The following describes each option in more detail.
Headphones
Two sets of standard stereo headphones can be plugged in here
for private practice or late-night playing. The internal speaker
system is automatically shut off when a pair of headphones is
plugged into the 1.Headphone jack.
NOTE
Never use headphones at a high volume, because high volume
levels may cause permanent hearing damage.
MIDI OUT
MIDI (Musical Instrument Digital Interface) is a world-standard
communication interface which allows electronic musical instruments
to communicate with each other, by sending and receiving compatible
note, program change and other types of MIDI data. You should only
plug the MIDI out in to another device featuring a MIDI input.

The piano's stereo RCA line output can be used to deliver the
output of the piano to a keyboard amplifier, stereo sound system,
mixing console or ta 3e recorder. The piano's internal sound system
will remain on un ess headphones are plugged in to the 1.
Headphonejack.
Using USB-MIDI
This product allows the transfer of MIDI information over USB to
a computer. As complicated this might sound, it's actually pretty
straight forward. Because your piano is USB Class Compliant, there
is no need to install a driver to enable it to work with compute. Simply
just plug it in and the OS will do the rest. The piano will work with all
standard MIDI based computer software.
USB AUDIO interface is a digital audio interface. By USB cable,
you can digitally transfer intact audio signals of PC to this
instrument, and enjoy it on this instrument or use it for accompany
when you play this instrument; likewise, you can transfer intact
audio signals of the instrument to PC to record and edit music.
NOTE
The piano also support the USB Audio.
Aux In
The Aux In stereo RCA connectors allow you to mix an external
sound source (such as a CD player, MP3 player or computer
output) with the plane‘s internal sounds, for alayback through
the plane's built—in speakers or headphone outputs.
Blue tooth
This piano can support Blue tooth with the Connection of the
Blue tooth jack, Reference: Blue tooth.
Your instrument has 128(01—128) GM standard voices.

sound effect) that you can select and play.
Selecting a Voice
When [VOICE/STYLE] button is unlighted, the voice mode is
selected and the current voice number and the name will display
on the LCD Display section.

Touch
The touch function provides four different types of keyboard
touch sensitivity that can be selected to match different playing
styles.

touch sensitivity type.

will display: TouchFixed:90. It means that regardless of how
hard you play, the keyboard will transmit a velocity value of 90.

touch sensitivity default value.
When touch is selecting, press [+] and [-] button simultaneously
to reset the touch to default value (90).
Transpose
The Transpose function allows you to change the pitch of the
instrument in semitone steps, up to a maximum setting of 12
semitones (a maximum of one octave up or down).

required. The transposition range is from "-12" (down one
octave) through "0" (normal pitch) to "12" (up one octave).

Your instrument has 100 accompaniment styles which can be
used to provide Fully-orchestrated Auto Accompaniment.
When the Auto Accompaniment function is turned ON, this
instrument creates fully-orchestrated rhythm, bass and chord
accompaniment based on chords you play with the left hand in
the Auto Accompaniment section of the keyboard(i.e. all keys
to the left of the Auto Accompaniment split point). The
right—hand section of the keyboard is available for normal
playing.

Press the [SYNCHRO] button, then the accompaniment will start
when you play the first chord on the AUTO ACCOMPANIMENT
section of the keyboard.

Startinq the Accompaniment with an Introduction
If you press this button before you start the rhythm, synchro
function will work automatically. The normal rhythm pattern will be
preceded by a special introduction (INTRO) as soon as a chord is
detected and it will be possible to play the instrument with your
preferred chords. However, if you press the button when the rhythm
is already running, the instrument plays a final variation (ENDING)
and the rhythm section will stop automatically.
All of your instrument accompaniment patterns can be started with
an appropriate introduction by pressing the [INTRO/ENDING] button,
once the style has been selected.
When the INTRO finishes playing, the accompaniment will change
to the main style pattern.

Press the [FILL IN] button at any time while the accompaniment
is playing to add a one-measure fill-in.
If you press the [SYNCHRO] button and then the [FILL IN] button,
the accompaniment will start from the fill—in as soon as a chord is

Stop a Style
An accompaniment progress can be stopped immediately by
pressing the [START/STOP] button and also can be stopped with an
appropriate ending by pressing the [INTRO/ENDING] button.
Adjusting the Accompaniment Volume
Press [ACCOMP. 4/» ] button to enter the accompaniment volume
setting mode, LCD displays the value, use number button, [+]and[-]
button or turn the dial to adjust the volume value.

Variation
While the style is playing, you can add variation in the rhythm/
accompaniment by pressing the [VARIATION] button, the
indicator is lit. This switches between the Main A and Main B
sections automatically playing a Fill in or variation pattern to
smoothly lead into the next section.

One Touch Setting
This function is actually a convenient feature which automatically
selects a suitable voice for you when you select a style. In
addition, various panel settings (such as voice, effect, Tempo,
etc.) that match the selected style can be recalled with just a
single button [O.T.S.].

Touch Setting.

Harmony

The harmony function features a variety of performance effect
that enhance the melodies you play when using the
accompaniment styles.

Chord Function
Turn on this mode, the specified left—hand section of the keyboard
becomes the ”Auto Accompaniment" section, and chords played
in this section are automatically detected and used as a basis
for fully automatic accompaniment with the selected style

Full Keyboard
This feature allows you to play automatic chords in the full length
of the keyboard.
Press the button and dedicated arrow will indicate it on the display.
When in full keyboard the chords played by the Auto Accompaniment
System will be displayed on the screen.

Tap/Tempo
This function allows you to set the rhythm tempo by tapping in tempo on
[TAP/TEMPO] button. Tap on the button 2 times while rhythm is
playing, the rhythm tempo are set as your desired speed.

If you want to set the tempo before starting rhythm, you have to tap
the button 4 times.

Metronome
Metronome is a convenient feature for practice, and it can also
provide a solid rhythmic guide when recording.
The metronome sound is alternately turned on and turned off by
pressing [METRONOME] button.
When metronome indicator is unlighted, hold down [METRONOME]
button for two seconds until the LCD will display the time
signature of the metronome. It can be set by using [+] and [-]
button while turning on the metronome function.
Time signature: 1/4, 2/4, 3/4, 4/4, 5/4, 6/4, 3/8, 6/8, 7/8, 9/8,
12/8.

User Rhythm Recording
User Style allows you make rhythm according to your own interests
and preferences, the rhythm can be used in the play.
Press the [Record] button and [SAVE TO] button at the same
time and the LCD will display "101:UsrRhy01", then press
one key to start recording. The [METRONOME] button indicator
will light and 2 bars of rhythm will loop play. At the same time
start the rhythm, can be arbitrarily added percussion. Press
the [START/STOP] button to stop the recording.
