S 9 Now, MOOOW. 38:3. an 0M 0 M00 9 0 ON _u:n._ 35.3.: You are no doubt eager to play your piano, but first please make sure you have completed the following basic setup steps: 1) Follow the assembly instructions as outlined on page 69 in the appendix of this manual. 2) Once the piano is securely assembled, connect the plug of the foot pedal unit to the pedal jack on the rear panel. 3) Plug in the included power chord to the bottom of the piano body as illustrated below. Position the piano in the desired location, making sure that the power chord can reach a AC power connection point. fl x 2mm. 4) Then plug the other end of the power cable into the AC power outlet. NOTE 1.Ensure the piano is turned off when connecting and disconnecting the power. 2.Turn the volume knob to its minimum level before turning on the power. In this case, press the [POWER] button again to turn on the power. NOTE When you are playing the Demo song, it will not switch off automatically in 30 minutes after no any operation on it. (Reference: Auto Power off time P43) < e, U _, l _, Foot Pedals Connect the plug of the foot peda unit to the pedal jack in the button panel. PEDAL Damper Pedal (Right) It performs the same function as the damper pedal on an actual acoustic piano, letting you sustain the sound of the voices even after releasing your fingers from the keys. SUSTAlN / §Q§tenutfleg§u§entgtl If you play a note or chord on the keyboard and press the sostenuto pedal while the notes are held, those notes will be sustained as long as the pedal is held, but all subsequently played notes will not be sustained. SOSTENUTO /’ Soft Pedal (Left) The Soft Pedal controls the sound volume. Press the pedal to decrease the output sound volume. Adjust the Volume Use [MASTER VOLUME] control to adjust the volume to your desired level. llll|| MAX MASTER OLUME Adjust the Sound The [TREBLE] fader can be used to adjust the sound of the piano. If the TREBLE fader is pushed to the far left the high frequency of the sound will be decreased, if it is pushed to the right, the high frequency will be increased. Pushing the [BASS] fader to the left will decrease the bass frequency while turning it to the right will increase the bass frequency. l I l was Low | man Demo Play There are 16 preset piano songs that you can play individually. The following describes each option in more detail. Headphones Two sets of standard stereo headphones can be plugged in here for private practice or late-night playing. The internal speaker system is automatically shut off when a pair of headphones is plugged into the 1.Headphone jack. NOTE Never use headphones at a high volume, because high volume levels may cause permanent hearing damage. MIDI OUT MIDI (Musical Instrument Digital Interface) is a world-standard communication interface which allows electronic musical instruments to communicate with each other, by sending and receiving compatible note, program change and other types of MIDI data. As complicated this might sound, it's actually pretty straight forward. Because your piano is USB Class Compliant, there is no need to install a driver to enable it to work with compute. Simply just plug it in and the OS will do the rest. The piano will work with all standard MIDI based computer software. USB AUDIO interface is a digital audio interface. By USB cable, you can digitally transfer intact audio signals of PC to this instrument, and enjoy it on this instrument or use it for accompany when you play this instrument; likewise, you can transfer intact audio signals of the instrument to PC to record and edit music. NOTE The piano also support the USB Audio. Aux In The Aux In stereo RCA connectors allow you to mix an external sound source (such as a CD player, MP3 player or computer output) with the plane‘s internal sounds, for alayback through the plane's built—in speakers or headphone outputs. Blue tooth This piano can support Blue tooth with the Connection of the Blue tooth jack, Reference: Blue tooth. Selecting a Voice When [VOICE/STYLE] button is unlighted, the voice mode is selected and the current voice number and the name will display on the LCD Display section. Touch The touch function provides four different types of keyboard touch sensitivity that can be selected to match different playing styles. When touch is selecting, press [+] and [-] button simultaneously to reset the touch to default value (90). Transpose The Transpose function allows you to change the pitch of the instrument in semitone steps, up to a maximum setting of 12 semitones (a maximum of one octave up or down). 4 TRANSPOSE > Use [TRANSPOSE 4/» ] button to transpose up or down as required. Your instrument has 100 accompaniment styles which can be used to provide Fully-orchestrated Auto Accompaniment. When the Auto Accompaniment function is turned ON, this instrument creates fully-orchestrated rhythm, bass and chord accompaniment based on chords you play with the left hand in the Auto Accompaniment section of the keyboard(i.e. all keys to the left of the Auto Accompaniment split point). The right—hand section of the keyboard is available for normal playing. Auto Accompaniment The default Auto Accompaniment ‘—' split point is the “F2 key. The normal rhythm pattern will be preceded by a special introduction (INTRO) as soon as a chord is detected and it will be possible to play the instrument with your preferred chords. However, if you press the button when the rhythm is already running, the instrument plays a final variation (ENDING) and the rhythm section will stop automatically. All of your instrument accompaniment patterns can be started with an appropriate introduction by pressing the [INTRO/ENDING] button, once the style has been selected. When the INTRO finishes playing, the accompaniment will change to the main style pattern. CHORD stcon INTRO/ENDING AgginLFilLIn Press the [FILL IN] button at any time while the accompaniment is playing to add a one-measure fill-in. This switches between the Main A and Main B sections automatically playing a Fill in or variation pattern to smoothly lead into the next section. FILLIN _ VARIATION ‘1) One Touch Setting This function is actually a convenient feature which automatically selects a suitable voice for you when you select a style. In addition, various panel settings (such as voice, effect, Tempo, etc.) that match the selected style can be recalled with just a single button [O.T.S.]. Chord Function Turn on this mode, the specified left—hand section of the keyboard becomes the ”Auto Accompaniment" section, and chords played in this section are automatically detected and used as a basis for fully automatic accompaniment with the selected style A (MORE SVNCHRO Full Keyboard This feature allows you to play automatic chords in the full length of the keyboard. Press the button and dedicated arrow will indicate it on the display. When in full keyboard the chords played by the Auto Accompaniment System will be displayed on the screen.
