Press theleft or right arrows to cycle throughthe EQ options. The availablechoices are Pop, Rock, Jazz,Classical, and Talk.Finding a StationTo select the band, see “AudioSource”earlier in this section.Turn the TUNE/MENU knob to finda radio station. To select a presetstation, touch the FAV button andchoose a preset button.Seeking a StationPress 7or 6to search for astation.Changing the SourcesTo change audio sources from anyof the audio main pages (AM, FM,XM, CD, USB/iPod, or AUX), pressthe RADIO or MEDIA button on thefaceplate or the Source screenbutton to display a pop-up ofavailable audio sources. Touch-tapor press the RADIO or MEDIAbutton on the faceplate repeatedlyto change the desired source.Storing Radio Station PresetsThere are a few ways to storepresets.Up to 36 preset stations can bestored. AM, FM, and XM,if equipped, can be mixed.1. From the AM, FM, or XM mainpage, press and hold one of thepreset screen buttons located atthe bottom of the screen. After afew seconds, a beep will beheard and the new presetinformation will display on thatscreen button.2. Touch and hold a preset buttonto store the currently activestation. When not underguidance, it defaults to the currentlocation.Doppler Map: The Doppler map isshown with the vehicle location inthe center of the map.City and State: The city and stateis displayed for the view currentlyshown. This is defaulted to thecurrent city and state that thevehicle is driving in.Forecast Information: When in themap application, the last view forthe forecast will be shown, but theinitial default is for Hourly. If anothertype of forecast is selected, thatinformation is updated in theforecast region.Play Screen Button InitiatesPlayback27074301. Press the Play screen button toplayback a weather loop of thelast few hours as available fromthe data source. The date andtime for the image are updatednext to the City, Stateinformation.2. The forecast informationdisappears when Play ispressed. If playback is stopped,the previous forecast informationis displayed again. If the map isbeing played back, and theforecast option is selected, theplayback is stopped and thecurrent map is displayed.3. If the map is being panned whileit is being played back, the mapstops playing and returns to thelatest map.4. If the zoom level is adjusted to alevel that is not supported byvideo playback, the map adjuststo the closest zoom level thatsupports playback.
