The transceiver is supplied to airframe manufacturers and airlines, and isdesigned to meet the requirements of ARINC 709-8. Operating instructions are notnecessary because the unit is part of a larger Navigation system used by trained pilots.Rockwell Collins does produce the DME-4000 Component Maintenance Manual, acomprehensive installation manual which, pursuant to an agreement with the FCC staff,is available upon request but is not included in this electronic exhibit.
