Rockwell Collins, Inc. does not supply an instruction book with the HST-900 SATCOM
transceiver. The transceiver is supplied to airframe manufacturers and airlines, and designed to
meet the requirements of Inmarsat. Operating instructions are not necessary because the unit is
part of a larger satellite communications system. Rockwell Collins does produce the HST-900
Component Maintenance Manual, a comprehensive installation manual which, pursuant to an
agreement with the FCC staff, is available upon request but in not included in this electronic
exhibit.
