PREPARATION FOR USE
1. Controls and Indicators

Your ear buds are supplied with 3 sizes of ear cushions to allow you to customize your
ear buds for maximum wearing comfort and stability during all kinds of exercise and
physical activities. We have also installed magnets in each of the ear buds to keep the
buds together around your neck when you have removed them from your ears.

Please review this manual carefully to make sure you are getting the maximum benefit
from all of the features of your new ear buds, and keep this manual for future reference.

2. Charging Your iHome Ear Buds
Your iHome Bluetooth ear buds operate on a built-in rechargeable battery. Although
the battery was fully charged when it left our factory, the battery can lose power even
during periods of non-use. Make sure to charge the battery before using the phone
for the first time.

To charge the battery connect the larger plug of the included
USB charging cable to the powered USB port of a computer or
a USB/AC adapter and then connect the smaller plug to the
USB charging port on side of the control dongle as shown in
the illustration.

The Charging Indicator will glow red while the ear buds are charging. The indicator will
turn off when the ear buds are fully charged and ready to use.

Silicon Ear Cushions
When fully charged the battery should provide up to 5 hours of talk time or music
playing time at a normal listening level. If operated at maximum volume the music
playing time will be reduced. NOTE: While charging, the earbud power will turn off to
conserve battery power and minimize charging time.
3. Wearing Your iHome Ear Buds
The ‘M’ size silicon tips were installed on the ear buds at our factory.
If you wish to change to either the ‘S’ or ‘L’ size tips simply pull the ‘M’ size tips off
the ear buds and replace them with the ‘S’ or ‘L’ size tips. Be
sure to push the ‘S’ or ‘L’ size tips on to the ear buds until they
are firmly seated on the tubes so that the tips do not come off
the ear buds when you remove them from your ears. Using the
proper size tips will insure that you get the best possible seal in
your ear canal and provide the best audio quality.
The recommended usage is to position the cable behind your neck before inserting
the ear buds in your ears. The ear buds should be worn with the control dongle on
your right side.
Note: Noise isolation ear buds like the iB82 are designed to provide a good seal in
your ears and block outside sounds. You should not use noise isolation ear buds in
situations that require you to hear outside warning sounds.

Function
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
1. Power On / Auto-Linking Mode
PRESS and HOLD the Multi-Function Button (MFB) on the control dongle for
approximately 2 seconds until you hear the “Power On” voice prompt that confirms the
power is ‘On’. The blue LED begins flashing slowly indicating that your ear buds are in
the Auto-Linking Mode and trying to re-link to a previously paired device as long as
that device is within the normal pairing range of approximately 33-feet. If your ear buds
do not find a previously paired device that is in range and turned ‘on’ within 3 minutes
they will switch from the Auto-Linking mode to the Power ‘Off’ mode to extend the
battery life.
2. Power Off
To shut the power ‘Off’ at any time PRESS and HOLD the Multi-Function Button (MFB)
on the control dongle for approximately 2 seconds. You will hear the voice prompt say
“Power Off”. The red LED flashes three times and then the power shuts off.
3. Manually Pairing Your iHome Ear Buds With Your Bluetooth Device
NOTE: Your ear buds must be ‘Off’’ to begin the manual pairing process.
With the ear buds in the ‘Off’ mode, PRESS and HOLD the Multi-Function Button
(MFB) on the control dongle for approximately 7 seconds. After 2 seconds you will
hear the “Power On” voice prompt, and after another 5 seconds you will hear the
“Pairing” voice prompt and the LED indicator begins alternately flashing blue and red.
Release the Multi-Function Button (MFB)
Make sure that your Bluetooth device is turned ‘On’ and in the Pairing mode. Refer to
the instructions supplied with your device if necessary. When your device “finds” the
iB82 ear buds, you will see “iHome iB82” appear on your devices Bluetooth menu
screen together with the words “Not Paired”, “Not Connected” or similar. Touch
“iHome iB82” to complete the pairing process. You will hear the voice prompt say
“Your device is connected”, and you will see “iHome iB82 Connected” on your
devices Bluetooth menu. The LED indicator will slowly flash blue when you are
successfully paired. NOTE: If your Bluetooth device asks for a Password or a PIN to
complete the pairing process, enter “0000” on the keypad of your device.
You are now ready to begin streaming music wirelessly from your Bluetooth device to
your iHome iB82 Bluetooth ear buds.
4. Connect Ear Buds
The ear buds connect to each other with built-in magnets
in each of the ear buds to keep the buds together around
your neck when you have removed them from your ears.
5. Using Your iHome Bluetooth Ear Buds
The following chart explains the basic functions and operations of your Bluetooth ear buds.

aimants dans les oreillettes pour qu’elles restent attirées l’une vers l’autre autour de votre

2. Charger vos écouteurs-boutons
Vos écouteurs-boutons iHome fonctionnent avec une batterie lithium-ion intégrée
rechargeable. Bien que la batterie ait été complètement chargée à la sortie d’usine,
elle peut, comme toutes les batteries, enregistrer une certaine consommation de
courant pendant les périodes de non-utilisation. Pour bénéficier des meilleurs
résultats, nous vous recommandons de charger la batterie pendant environ avant
d'utiliser vos écouteurs-boutons pour la première fois.

Pour charger la batterie, branchez le grand connecteur du
câble de charge USB inclus dans un port USB alimenté d'un
ordinateur ou d'un adaptateur secteur USB, et branchez le
petit connecteur dans le port de charge USB situé sur le côté
du dispositif de commande, comme illustré dans la figure.
Le témoin de charge s’allume en rouge pendant la charge des écouteurs-boutons. Le
témoin s’éteint dès que les écouteurs sont complètement chargés et prêts à l'emploi.
Une fois complètement chargée, la batterie peut assurer jusqu'à 5 heures de temps
de conversation ou écoute de musique à un niveau d'écoute normal. Cette
autonomie peut être réduite si vous utilisez un niveau de volume élevé pour écouter
la musique. REMARQUE : Pendant la charge, l’alimentation de la télécommande
sera coupée pour économiser la batterie et réduire le temps de charge.

3. Porter vos écouteurs-boutons
Des embouts de taille «M» ont été installés dans les écouteurs-boutons en usine.
Pour remplacer l’embout de taille «M» avec un de taille «S» ou «L», il suffit de l’enlever
de l’écouteur-bouton et de mettre un autre embout. Poussez suffisamment l’embout
de taille «S» ou «L» dans l’écouteur-bouton jusqu'à ce qu'il soit
bien en place sur le tube de manière à ce qu’il ne se détache
pas lorsque vous retirez l’écouteur-bouton de votre oreille.
L'utilisation d’embouts de taille appropriée assure une
meilleure étanchéité dans votre conduit auditif et par
conséquent une meilleure qualité sonore.
Embout auriculaire en silicone
Il est recommandé de placer le câble derrière votre cou avant d'insérer les
écouteurs-boutons dans les oreilles. Les écouteurs-boutons doivent être portés avec
le dispositif de commande sur votre droite.
Remarque : Les écouteurs-boutons à isolement de bruit comme les iB82 sont
conçues pour fournir une bonne étanchéité à vos oreilles et bloquer les sons
extérieurs. Vous ne devez pas utiliser des écouteurs-boutons à isolement de bruit
dans des situations qui vous obligent à entendre les sons d'avertissement extérieurs.

MODE D'EMPLOI
1. Mode Allumé/Connexion automatique
Maintenez appuyée pendant environ 2 secondes la touche multifonction (TMF) du
dongle de commande jusqu'à que vous entendiez trois bips ascendants indiquant
que l'appareil est « allumé ». Le témoin bleu commence à clignoter lentement,
indiquant que vos écouteurs-boutons sont en mode connexion automatique et
essaient de rétablir une connexion avec un appareil déjà couplé tant qu’il est dans la
plage de couplage normale d'environ 10 mètres. Si dans environ 3 minutes vos
écouteurs-boutons ne trouvent pas un appareil couplé qui est à porté et allumé, ils
passent du mode connexion automatique au mode « éteint » pour prolonger la durée
de vie de la batterie.
2. Pour éteindre
Pour « éteindre », maintenez appuyée la touche multifonction (TMF) du dongle de
commande pendant environ 2 secondes. Vous entendrez trois bips descendants, le
témoin clignote une fois en rouge, puis l'alimentation sera coupée.
3. Couplage manuel de vos écouteurs-boutons iHome avec votre
appareil Bluetooth
REMARQUE : Vos écouteurs-boutons doivent être éteints avant de lancer le
processus le couplage manuel.
Avec les écouteurs-boutons « éteints », maintenez appuyée la touche multifonction
(TMF) du dongle de commande pendant environ 6 secondes. Après 3 secondes,
vous entendrez le message vocal « Power ON » et, après 3 autres secondes, vous
entendrez le message vocal « Pairing » puis le témoin commence à clignoter
alternativement en rouge et bleu. Relâchez la touche multifonction (TMF)
Assurez-vous que votre appareil Bluetooth est allumé et « détectable ». Si nécessaire,
reportez-vous aux instructions fournies avec votre appareil. Lorsque votre appareil «
trouve » les écouteurs-boutons iB82, «iHome iB82» apparaît sur l'écran des menus
de votre appareil Bluetooth accompagné de l’indication « Not Paired », « Not
Connected » ou quelque chose de ce genre. Appuyez sur « iHome iB82 » pour
terminer le processus de couplage. Vous entendrez le message vocal « Your device is
connected », et vous verrez « iHome iB82 Connected » dans le menu Bluetooth de
votre appareil. REMARQUE : Si votre appareil Bluetooth demande un mot de passe
ou un code PIN pour terminer le processus de couplage, entrez « 0000 » via le clavier
de votre appareil.
Vous pouvez alors commencer la diffusion de musique sans fil à partir de votre
appareil Bluetooth vers vos écouteurs-boutons Bluetooth iHome iB82.
4. Connexion des écouteurs-bouton

l’autre autour de votre cou lorsque vous ne les portez
pas.
5. Utilisation de vos écouteurs-boutons Bluetooth iHome

numéro d'autorisation de retour et des instructions sur l'expédition. Une copie du reçu de vente
est obligatoire pour bénéficier d’une couverture sous garantie.
Exclusion de Garantie
REMARQUE : Cette garantie n'est valable que si l'appareil a été utilisé aux fins pour lesquelles il a
été destiné. Elle ne couvre pas (i) tout appareil qui a été endommagé par négligence ou actes
délibérés, mauvaise utilisation ou accident ou qui a été altéré ou réparé par des personnes non
autorisées ; (ii) tout appareil dont le boîtier est fissuré/brisé ou qui a été endommagé par une
chaleur excessive ; (iii) tout appareil dont le lecteur CD/cassettes est endommagé (s'il existe) ; (iv)
les frais d'expédition de l'appareil au centre de service et de retour à son propriétaire.
Cette garantie n'est valable qu'aux États-Unis d'Amérique et ne s'applique qu'à l'acheteur initial de
l'appareil. En aucun cas, SDI, l'une de ses filiales, sous-traitants, revendeurs, dirigeants,
administrateurs, actionnaires, membres ou agents ne seront tenus responsables envers vous ou
un tiers pour les dommages directs ou indirects, toute perte de profits, d'indemnisation au-delà
du dommage subi. (Certains États n'autorisent pas de limitations de garanties implicites ou d'exclusion
de dommages consécutifs, il se peut donc que ces restrictions ne s'appliquent pas dans votre cas.)
Cette garantie vous accorde des droits légaux précis auxquels peuvent s'ajouter d'autres droits
pouvant être différents d'une juridiction à l'autre.
Votre reconnaissance et votre accord à respecter toutes les limites de responsabilité de la garantie
ci-haut mentionnée est un contrat irrévocable pour vous suite à votre transfert de devises
(mandat-carte, chèque de banque ou carte de crédit) pour l'achat d'un produit SDI.
