Valet Mode prevents the system from remote starting anddisables all alarm functions. IMPORTANT: While in Valet Mode the remote will still control power lock and unlock systems. The parking lights will not flash. The system can be put into valet one of two ways:1. You can put the system into valet by turning the ignition key <on> and then <off> five times within 7 seconds. The parking lights will flashonce to confirm the system is in Valet Mode. Shortly after the first flash, the parking lights will flash twice. 2. (Optional Feature) If you purchased the secure valet switch option, you will not be able to put the system into valet until the proper code has been enteredwith the secure valet switch. Until programmed, the default code is (3, 3).You can exit Valet Mode through the following procedure:On either 1 Button remote, turn the vehicle’s ignition <on> and then tap the button 5 times, waiting a second between each tap. Your vehicle will flash theparking lights twice and exit valet mode.v@mThe only regular maintenance this system requires is remote control battery replacement. No programming is required when replacing thebattery. One Button Remotes:First, remove the small Phillips screw located on the back of the remote. Once the screw has been removed, gently pull the remote apart being careful to nottouch the circuit board. The 1BAMR and 1BAMR-C and 1BAMR-900SH requires two CR2016 batteries. The single button configuration allows for keyless entry and/orremote start functionality. Although other Firstech systems have numerous functions and capabilities, please keep in mind that your system has the option forfuture upgradeability to a 2 Way system.Sending CommandsWhen in range, and the button has been pressed, the remote bright blue LED will illuminate and vehicle’s parking lights will flash. For example, to send aremote start command from the remote, tap then hold the button for 2.5 seconds. The remote’s bright blue LED will come on solid and then flash.Upon receiving confirmation that your vehicle is running, the parking lights will light solid. The remote start run time can be programmed for 3, 15, 25, or 45minutes - ask your local Firstech dealer to adjust Option 2-7 if you would like a run time other than 15 minutes (default). IMPORTANT: The vehicle’s key must be inserted into the ignition and turned to the <on> position prior to driving your vehicle. If the foot brake is depressedprior to the key being in the <on> position, the vehicle will shut off.Tap the button once to lock/arm the system. After you tap the button the doors should lock 1 second later. To unlock/disarm your vehicle tapthe button twice within 1 second. This feature is optional and may require additional programming and/or installation. Thevehicle’s parking lights will flash once with the successful completion of this step.STEP 2: Within a 2 second period after cycling the ignition for the 5th time, pressing the single button once for 0.5 seconds. The parking lights will flash onceto confirm the transmitter has been coded.Exiting Programming: Programming is a timed sequence. The parking lights will flash twice signaling the end ofprogramming mode.Programming Multiple Remotes: After the confirmation flash given in step 2, code additional remotes by pressingthe single button on remote. The parking lights will flash once confirming each additional remote. All systems canrecognize up to three remotes.IMPORTANT: Every Firstech remote must be coded to the system prior to performing any operations. All remotes must be coded at the same time.Remote Start Error DiagnosticIf the remote start fails to start the vehicle, the parking lights will flash three times immediately. Le Mode Valet empêche le système dedémarrer à distance et désactive toutes les fonctions de l’alarmeIMPORTANT :Pendant que le Mode Valet est activé, la télécommande continuera de verrouiller et déverrouiller les systèmes de verrouillage à commande électrique.Le système peut être mis en mode valet de trois façons:1. Vous pouvez mettre le système en mode valet en tournant la clé entre la position “on” et “off” dans contact cinq fois à l’intérieur de 7secondes. Les feux de stationnement clignoteront une fois pour confirmer que le système est en mode valet. Peu après le premierclignotement, les feux clignoteront deux fois. 2. (Fonction optionnelle) Si vous avez acheté l’option commutateur de valet sécuritaire, vous ne pourrez pas mettre le système en mode valet sans avoirentré préalablement, le code correspondant avec le commutateur de valet sécuritaire. La configuration à un bouton permet l’entrée sans clé et/ou le démarrage à distance.Même si d’autres systèmes de Firstech ont plusieurs fonctions et possibilités, sachez que votre système à l’option d’être amélioré à un système bidirectionnel.Envoi des commandesQuand vous êtes dans le rayon et le bouton a été pressé, la lumière brillante bleu DEL s’allumera et les feux de stationnement du véhicule clignoteront. Parexemple, pour envoyer une commande de démarrage à distance à partir de la télécommande, pressez le bouton et tenez le pendant 2,5 secondes. La lumièrebleue DEL s’allumera complètement et après clignotera.Après avoir confirmé que votre véhicule est en marche, les feux de stationnement s’allumeront complètement.
