This is a powerful and convenient device that enables smooth Internet surfing and mobile office with light and highly universal platform. PM0783 MID is built on Google Android system, and integrates thousands of interesting applications, providing unparalleled experience for you.  With integrated wireless access and responsive touch screen, you can read books and newspapers at any time; learn about the latest news, sports and weather; manage data and business documents; browse the map, and company locations on the web.  2Device and Accessories  Accessories: Check if the followings are available in the product package:   • Main unit; • Product manual; • USB cable; • Adapter;   • The attached articles may differ due to different model of the product and for different regions, which depends on software or accessories available for use in the region where you location or service supplier • You may purchase other accessories from our company. The accessories supplied by our company shall provide the best support for the device. Our company shall not be liable for incompatibility or damage caused against the device by accessories bought from other companies.   Charge the battery The device is equipped with built-in battery. Before the first time of use, the battery must be charged. It is recommended to charge the battery for minimum 10 hours for the first time. And then, normally charge it full.    Only the charger (input: AC110〜240V 50/60Hz; output: DC5V/2A ) authorized by our company can be used. Our company shall not be liable for battery explosion or damage caused against the device by accessories bought from other companies.  • Users are prohibited to displace the rechargeable battery attached to the device. Please contact service supplier for information of replacing the battery; • The battery can be charged with charger and data cable; • When battery level is lower than 15%, the device will give voice alarm and display lower battery information. Battery icon    will also display blank. In case of extremely low battery, the device will automatically power off. The device can not be used till the battery charged; • In case of a dead battery, the device can not power on even after connecting with the power adapter. Before trying to power it on, please charge the dead battery for couple of minutes first;  • The device can be played while being charged, but that will cost more time to charge it full; • During charging the device, the battery icon will roll about. The touch screen may be invalid due to unstable battery level. In case of this condition, please disconnect the power adapter; • The device will get hot during charging. This is normal, and it will not shorten lifespan of the device or lower its performance; • In case of fail of normal charging, please send the device and adapter back to our company for maintenance.
 3 It will cost roughly 4 hours to charge a dead battery full. Because the battery is consumable material, the charging time will steadily be shortened after using. Initial charging capability of the battery is 3600 mA.    Reduce battery consumption: If starting up browser or WLAN function at backstage, the battery will soon be consumed. To save battery, please close the unnecessary applications. You may also shorten backlight time and lower display brightness, or press [ ] when the device is not in use to switch to sleep mode.    Installing the SIM card or USIM card When you subscribe the mobile phone service, you will receive a SIM card, carrying the details of the subscription, such as the PIN and optional services. If you need to use UMTS or HSDPA service, you can purchase a USIM card.   Steps of installing the SIM card or USIM card: 1. Press and hold the Power button and select Shut down to power off the device. 2. Remove the back cover, use care and don’t hurt your nails. Insert the SIM card or USIM card.  Insert the SIM card or USIM card into the device with its golden finger facing down.    You can only use part of the functions of the device except the network service if no SIM card or USIM card is inserted.    Do not insert a storage card into the SIM card slot.   3. Install the back cover.。  Insert the storage card (optional)  If you need to store more multimedia files, you can insert a storage card into the device. The device supports micro SD card, with the max capacity of 32GB.   The device only support FAT file system. If you insert a storage card with other file system, the device will require you to format the card.   Frequent data writing and erasing will shorten the useful life of the storage card.   When a storage card is inserted, the files in the storage card will show in file management folder. 1. Remove the back cover. 2. Press and hold the Power button and select Shut down to power off the device. 3. Insert the storage card with its golden finger facing down.   4. Push the storage card into the device until it is locked. 5. Install the back cover.
 4Appearance:     No. Description  1 Volume down button 2 Volume up button 3 Power button, press to switch on/off the device. 4 Earphone jack, 3.5mm standard 5 microUSB interface, you can use it to exchange data with PC, recharge and connect to USB disk. 6  HDMI interface is for externally connecting to HDMI display. Remark The SIM card slot is inside the device, you can only insert the SIM after removing the back cover, and the same with TK.  Power On-Off Press and hold [    ] to power on the device and enter the desktop.    Press and hold [    ] for 2 to 3 seconds, a prompt dialog will ask you to select Shut down or Flight mode, select Shut down, the device will be off.    Screen lockup: Short press power key to enter screen standby lockup mode or screen wakeup unlocking mode.
 5 Use of touch screen  PM0783 is a 7” capacitive touch screen. By using the touch screen, you may easily select items or perform functions. Before using, please firstly learn about precautions for using the touch screen and basic operations.  • Do not use sharp objects to avoid scratching the touch screen.  • The touch screen is prohibited from contacting other electronic device. Static discharging may lead to touch screen faults.  • The touch screen is prohibited from contacting water. Keeping the touch screen in damp environment or contacting water may lead to faults.  • The touch screen has a detecting layer, which can detect weak electric charge emitted by our body. In order to reach the best effect, please use your finger to touch the screen. When using sharp tools like pens, the touch screen will fail to work normally.    The following operations may be executed to control the touch screen:   •  Tap: Touch one time to select or start up function lists, options or applications.  •  Tap and hold: Tap an item and hold it for over 2 seconds.  •  Drag and drop: Tap an item and drop it to a desired location.    •  Double-click: Click an item twice quickly.  •  Slide: Roll upwards, downwards, leftwards or rightwards to browse list or screen.     •  In case of idling time reaches the designated time limit, the device will turn off the touch screen. To wake up the screen, please click [ ].  Device operation interface When the device is in wakeup mode, you may find the main interface. In the main interface, you may check status of the device and use the applications. Roll leftwards or rightwards to select a main screen panel.    Unlock: After startup, the device will enter unlocking mode. Press and hold lock key   to drag to unlocking icon    to unlock it to enter the main interface:

 7  Add and delete shortcut on the main interface:  • Add shortcut for applications: Click and hold application icon in the application list, and drag it to the grid to place it on the main interface. The shortcut icon of this application will be added on the main interface.  • Add shortcut for window component: Press and hold the selected component in the window component list. The icon of the application will automatically move to the main interface. Shortcut icon of the application will be added on the main interface.    • Delete items on the main interface: 1. Click and hold the item to be deleted, recycle bin is shown on the upper left corner of the main screen。2. Drag the item to the recycle bin; 3. When the item and recycle bin go red, release the item.    Set wallpaper: On the main interface, put hand on the touch screen for a certain period, the following dialogue box “Selecting wallpaper source” shall be displayed as shown below for setting background wallpaper.       How to connect to PC with USB: Connect the device with PC by USB cable. “USB connection” icon    will be popped up at bottom right of the device. Click    to escape from storage device connecting window, after selecting the item of “device connection”, USB connection interface will be popped up. Click “open USB storage device” to connect with PC.
 8            In load mode, you may copy, cut and delete files on the device and storage card.      Visit application and component:    Application interface:    Application description:   The following table shows the applications available for use in application mode. Sequence of the applications may vary due to different software of the device. Applications supplied may vary due to service suppliers. (Note: Specific application list depends on specific machine model. Hereby only a brief introduction to basic applications supplied for your reference.)   Icon Functions  Browser: used to display text, image and video and others on World-Wide-Web or local network. Calculator: Directly perform mathematical calculation on the device Calendar: Create and manage daily, weekly or monthly even, set alarm clock for main vents for reminding. GOOGLE account is required for the first time of use.    Camera: Shoot and watch photo and video, and specific pixel depends on specific machine model.
 9Clock: used for setting alarm clock and time displayed   Download content: Used for managing downloaded resourced from internet   E-mail: used for sending and receiving e-mails Music: Music player, supports to play most audio formats   Search: click to directly enter GIIGLE search bar Setup: check information in the device and set various individualized settings    Recorder: record message with MIC HD player: used for playing image and video, supports most formats of image and video  Dial. It is used to dial a number, or to view the call history, and search, add, import/export contacts.  Contacts. You can save and search for contacts. You can also add, delete and share contacts.SMS. Send message to contact to convenient communication    Component interface:      Note: it can not be directly clicked for use, but to click to move it to the main interface for establishing a shortcut for use.
 10   Device basic setup:   Setup: Click setup icon   to enter setup interface.  1. Wireless and network Connect and manage WIFI and other networks   1) SIM card management   This function allows to enable or disable the SIM card; select the SIM card to make a video call; select data connection and international roaming; view SIM card applications.    2). WLAN : Enable WIFI, the device will search for WIFI signal nearby. You can also scan manually   or add network . In the advanced option , you can make the customized setting of the network.      WLAN setup: 1. Open to set up -WLAN;   2. All APs searched out by the device are listed. Click the selected AP name to connect;     3. If the AP was connected successfully before, AP information shall be stored. Select “Connection” in the popped up window to start connection, and select “not store” to
 11cancel AP information;   4. If AP is not encrypted, select “Connection” in the popped up window to start connection;  5. If the AP is encrypted, enter password in the popped up window, and click “Connection” to start connection;   6. After successfully connection with internet, status bar at left top of the screen will display an icon of wireless successfully connected.    3). Bluetooth: Enable the Bluetooth, the device will automatically search for Bluetooth devices nearby, you can select the one you want to connect to and exchange data, or to modify the name of the Bluetooth.   Remark: if two devices exchanging data both have distance sensing function, then when they get farther from each, or the signal becomes weaker, you will receive an alarm.     4). Network traffic : you can view the traffic of the wireless network and set the alarm.     2. Device 1)Profiles: you can set the ringtone, SMS ringtone, volume etc., and set customized profiles.
 12  2)Display : set the display related functions of the device, such as switch theme, select lock screen, adjust brightness, set wallpaper, theme color, sleep time, font size, etc.       3)Storage : Manage local disk (nand), external T-Flash card and U-disk.     4)Battery : Check battery level
 13      5)Application : Check the installed applications, click the operating application to unload it.      Click the downloaded application to unload it or stop it (The preset applications can not be unloaded.)    3. Personal  1). Location service : you can allow the device to determine your location through WIFI and enable the GPS function.
 14    2)Security : Set up screen protection method\ user information and device management.     3)Language and input method : Manage language, input method, keyboard language and pointer speed.   Note: Android system supports 60 languages, but the current menu supports 14 languages only.     4)Backup and reset : Make backup for data of the device and recovery default settings (Note: this will delete all personal information and downloaded applications installed. Please be careful to use it.)
 15   4 Account 1)Add account : click to add a new account. You can also set calendar, contacts and email here.     2). Date and time : Set up time, select time zone and date format.     3)Power on/off timer: set the automatic power on/off time of the device according to the use habit
 16of the user.      4). Auxiliary function: set large font size, press right key to end a call, auto screen rotation, and speak out password functions.     5) About device : Check version, status and system update of the device
 17 Troubleshooting: Error of network or service of the device displayed       • When you are at the place with low or poor signal, receiving may come to fail. Please move to other place to try again.     • In case of no reservation, this option will be invalid. Please contact service supplier to learn more information.    In case of low or incorrect response of the touch screen, please try the followings:   • Remove all protective membrane on the touch screen. The protective membrane may hold back recognition entering of the device. We do not recommended to use protective membrane on the touch screen.     •  When clicking the touch screen, please make sure that your finger is clean and dray;   •  Restart the device to clear all temporary software errors;   •  Make sure that the device is updated;   •  In case of scratching or damage of the touch screen, please contact the local service supplier.    Frozen device or device with fatal error   In case of frozen or hang-up device, closing the application or presetting the device may be needed for recovering the functions. In case of frozen device or low response of the device, press and hold [ ] for 8 to 10 seconds. The device will start up again. ) Some device models performs forced shutdown, press the power key again to power it on.)    In case of problems unsolved, please recover the default setting. In the main interface, open application list, and then select Setup-Backup and Reset-Default setting-Rest tablet PC.  The device will give prompt tone and the battery icon flashes.   Low battery: The device can not be used till being charged.   Abnormal charging or device power-off  In case of fail to charge the battery any more, please contact the local service supplier.
 18 Feel the device hot When using an application with high consumption of power or using the application on the device for long-term, the device will feel hot. This is normal and will not shorten lifespan and lower performance of the device. Error message displayed when starting up camera Sufficient free room of memory and battery level are required for the device to support applications of the device. In case of error message is received when starting up the camera, please try the followings:     •  Charge the battery;   •  Transmit the file computer or delete the file in the device for more room of storage;     •  Restart up the device. In case of fail to normally use the camera after trying these operations, please contact the local service supplier.    SIM card error:   The golden finger is dirty, clean it with clean cloth. SIM card is not properly inserted. Insert the SIM card properly according to the User’s Manual SIM card is damaged. Contact your network provider.                                                                    Cannot connect to network: Signal is weak. Retry where with better signal.   Out of the coverage of the network provider.   SIM card is invalid. Contact your network provider.                                                                 Cannot make a call: Make sure the dial button is pressed.   Make sure you have enough balance in your account to make a call. Make sure the SIM card is valid.   Make sure you have not set call limit function.   Make sure you have not set fixed dialing function.                                                                     Poor call quality: Please check whether the volume is properly adjusted.   The signal where you receive the call is poor, such as near the high-rise or the basement, where the radio wave cannot be well received.   The call is made at the busy time, such as the rush hour, when the phone line is blocked.                                                                  Cannot answer a call:   Make sure the device in on and connected to the network.   Make sure you have enough balance in your account to make a call. Make sure the SIM card is valid. Make sure you have not set call limit function.
 19The caller cannot hear you: Make sure the microphone is on.   Keep the microphone close to your month.     Error message displayed when opening music file Some music files may be failed to play due to various reasons. In case of error message received when opening a music file, please try the followings:   •  Transmit the file computer or delete the file in the device for more room of storage; •  Make sure that the music files is free of digit right management (DRM) protection. In case of DRM protection is available; please make sure that suitable license or password is available for this file; •  Make sure that the device supports this type of file.      In case of the problems unsolved by the methods above, please contact the local service supplier.   No connection established after connecting the device with PC: • Make sure that the data cable used is compatible with the device;   • Make sure that suitable drives are installed on the computer, and the drivers have been updated.    Safety Precautions:   To prevent you and others from being hurt or prevent you device from being damaged, please read through all the information below before using your device. Warning: To prevent electric shock, fire accident and explosion, please do not use the damaged power cord or plug or unsecured power socket; do not touch power cord with a wet hand, or plug off the charger by pulling the power cord. Please do not bend or damage the power cord; dot use the device while charging it or contact the device with wet hand to prevent short circuit of the charger or battery. Please do not have the charger or battery fallen, or impact caused. Please do not use the charger unauthorized by the manufacture. Please do not use the device in case of thunderstorm, and that may cause failure or electric shock.    Please do not use damaged battery or battery with leakage;    To safely dispose the battery, please contact the local service supplier.    Take care to dispose the battery and charger: •  Only specially designed battery and charger authorized by our company can be used. Incompatible battery and charger may cause danger or damage against the device; • Please do not throw the battery or device into fire. When disposing waste battery or device, please follow all the local laws and regulations;   •  Please do not place the battery or device in or over the heating device (e.g. microwave oven, baking oven or heat sink). In case of over hot, the battery may explode.   • Do not strike or pierce the battery. Please keep external high pressure from the battery.
 20Otherwise, internal short circuit and over hot may be caused.    Prevent the device, battery and charger from damage:   •   Keep the device and battery away from being exposed to extremely low or high temperature; • Extreme temperature will cause distortion of the device, lower charging capacity and shortened lifespan of the device;   • Prevent the battery from contacting metal articles. Otherwise, positive pole of the battery may contact with the negative pole, and that will cause temporary or permanent damage to the battery;       • Please do not use the damaged charger or battery.     Note: When using the device in restricted area, please abide by all safety warnings and regulations;  In the area where using of the device is prohibited, please turn it off;  Abide by all regulations for using the device in specific area;  Please do not use the device close to other electronic devices;  Most electronics devices have radio frequency signal, your device may cause interference to other electronic devices;    Please do not use the device close to pacemaker.   • If possible, please do not use the device within the distance of 15cm from    the pacemaker to prevent interference caused to the pacemaker;   • If the device is required to use, please keep a minimum distance of 15 cm from the pacemaker; • To try to reduce interference to the pacemaker, please turn back to the pacemaker when using the device.   Please do not use the device in hospital or places possibly causing radio frequency interference to medical devices;    In case of using personal medical devices, please contact the device manufacturer to ensure your safe use of the device with radio frequency;   If to use hearing-aid, please contact the device manufacturer to learn more about radio frequency interference information;  Some hearing-aids may be interfered by radio frequency from the device. Please contact the device manufacturer to ensure a safe use of the hearing-aid.  Turn off the device in an environment possibly causing explosion.    • In an environment possibly causing explosion, please firmly perform operation following
 21regulations, directives and signs; • Do use the device close to gas station (maintenance station), inflammable material, chemical agents or explosive area;   • It is strictly prohibited to store or carry inflammable liquid, gas or inflammable articles in the box with the device, components or accessories kept in.    Please turn off the device when traveling by plane;    It is illegal to use the device when traveling by plane. The device may cause interference to electronic navigator of the plane;    Electronic devices in automotive vehicles may cause failure due to radio frequency of the device.    Automotive electronic devices may cause failure due to radio frequency of the device. Please contact manufacture for detailed information. Properly keep and use the device: Keep the device dry • Moisture and all kinds of liquid may cause damage against parts or electric circuits of the device;   • Please do not turn it on it the device is wet. If the device is powered on, please immediately turn it off and take the battery out (If the device can not be turned off or battery can’t be taken out, please keep it as it is.) And then, clean and dry the device with a towel and send to the service center;   • Liquid will change color of the label indicating that water damages the internal parts. Water entered may cause damage against the device, and that will be beyond warranty of the manufacture.   Please do not keep the device in dirty place with dust; Dust may cause failure to the device;   Do not place the device on a slope surface;   Falling may cause damage against the device;    Do not keep the device in a place with extremely high or low temperature, but to use the device in an environment with temperature ranging -20 ℃ to 45 ℃. • If to keep the device in a closed vehicle, because temperature in the vehicle may reach 80 ℃, that will cause explosion of the device;   • Do not keep the device exposing to direct sunshine for long term, e.g. on instrument panel of the vehicle;  • Keep the battery in an environment with temperature ranging -20 ℃ to 45 ℃.  Do not keep the device together with metal articles like coin, key and necklace.
 22• Distortion or failure may be caused to the device;   • In case that battery touch spot contacts with the metal article, that may possibly cause fire accident.   Do not keep the device close to magnetic field.   • When being exposed to magnetic field, failure or electro-discharge may be caused to the device; • Magnetic stripe card (including credit card, phone card, bank passport and boarding pass) may be damaged by the magnetic field;   • Do not use device magnetic case or accessories, and prevent the device from long-term contacting with magnetic field.  Do not use the device in or close to water heater, microwave oven, hot food or container with high pressure. • The battery may trouble with leakage;   • Fire accident may be caused due to over hot device.  Prevent the device from falling or impact.   • That will possibly cause damage to the screen; • Bending or distortion may possibly cause failure to the device or components.     In case of flashing light or indicator with the device, please do use it close to eyes of people or animals.  Using flashing light close to eyes may cause temporary loss of sight or harm to eyes.    Notice to use device with flashing light:   • While using the device, turn on some indoor lights, and keep the screen with certain distance from eyes;   • Long-term watching movie or playing Flash games with flashing light may possibly cause spasm or syncope. In case of any discomfort felt, please immediately stop using the device.      Reduce risks caused by repeated action.   When repeatedly pressing keys, writing with finger on the screen or playing games, you may occasionally discomfort in wrist, neck, shoulders or other parts of body. After using the device for a certain period, please relax the hand holding the device, gently press the keys, and have a rest at proper interval. In case of discomfort felt after having a rest, please stop using the device.    Ensure a long lifespan of the battery and charger as possible:   • It is prohibited to continuously charge the battery for over one week. Over charging may shorten lifespan of the battery;   • Steadily electro-discharge may be caused in case of long-term idle, charging the battery before using again is required; • It is recommended to disconnect power of the charger in case of keeping it idle;
 23• The battery can only be used for specific purpose.    Authorized battery, charger, accessories and articles by the manufacture:   • Using universal battery or charger may possibly shorten lifespan of the device or cause failure to the device; • When users use the unauthorized accessories or articles, our company shall not be liable for safety of users.  Do not bite or suck the device or battery: • That will possibly damage the device or cause explosion;   • In case of using by children, please make sure that they use the device in a proper method.    Protect hearing and ears when using earphone:   • Over contacting high sound may cause damage to hearing;   • Contacting high sound during driving will cause inattention causing accident;   • Adjust volume to low level before inserting the earphone into audio source, and use only the minim low volume to listen to the radio or music; • In a dry environment, static may be accumulated in the earphone. Do not use the earphone in a dry environment; before connecting the earphone with the device, please keep it away from contacting metal articles to prevent static discharge.    Precautions when using the device while walking or moving: Keep paying attention to ambient to prevent hurt caused to yourself or others;  Do not place the device in trousers back pocket or hanging at waist. In case of falling over yourself, you may hurt or the device damaged;  Do not disassemble, reform or repair the device:   • The manufacturer shall not provide warranty for the device due to any unauthorized change or reform. If maintenance needed, please send the device to local service center;   • Do not disassemble or pierce the battery, for it may possibly cause explosion or fire accident.    Do not paint the device or stick adhesive tape on it;    。  Paint or adhesive tape may block the components and cause fail for normal use. In case of allergy to paint or metal parts of the device, that may possible cause skin itch, eczema or skin swell. In case of the above occurred, please stop using the device and go to see a physician.    Clean the device: • Clean the device or charger with a towel or rubber brush;   • It is prohibited to use chemicals or cleansers.    Do not use the device in case of crackle or damage found;
 24Glass cullet may possibly hurt your hand and face. Send the device to local service center for servicing;   Do not use the device beyond the specific purpose;    Prevent interference to other people when using the device in a public area;    Using the device by children is prohibited;     The device is not a toy. Do have children play the device, for they possibly hurt themselves and other people or damage the device;    Carefully install the device and related devices: • Make sure to install the device and related devices safely in a vehicle; • It is prohibited to place the device and accessories in or close to the air bag expanding area. In case of improper installation of the wireless device, when the air bag fast expands, that will cause serious hurt.    Qualified maintenance personnel are required for servicing of the device.    In case of damage caused to the device by servicing performed by unauthorized personnel, warranty is invalid.    Ensure safety of personal and key data • When using the device, please do remember to backup the key data. Our company shall not be liable for loss of the data;   • When discarding the device, please do remember to backup all data. And then, reset your device to prevent misuse of personal information.
