The MID (Mobile Internet Device) is a low-cost refined device accessible to
broadband that integrates telecommunication into digital multimedia entertainment.
Light, small and portable, it provides multimedia entertainment and high-speed
Internet access, as well as various businesses and application functions, offering
you a perfect user experience! To give full play to this device, please refer to help
provided online or by Internet links.
While compiling this Users Manual, we refer to the latest news. This Manual uses
screen display and illustrated diagrams to introduce this device in detail more
specifically and directly. These displays and illustrated diagrams may be different
from the actual device due to different RD and production batches. In this case,
the actual functions of the device shall prevail.
1. Appearance description
Front-end graphic display
This device is sophisticatedly designed. Refer to this Manual, and you will learn
more about the functional features of the device. The all parts of front end is
introduced as below.

Return key
After the device turns on, press this key to return to the previous mode or menu.
POWER key
After the device turns off, press and hold this key for about 1 second to start it;
After the device turns on, short press POWER key to enter sleep mode. In sleep
mode, short press this key to wake up the device and enter unlock mode; press and
hold this key for 5 seconds to enter shut-down registration menu; press and hold for
7 seconds to reset the device and turn off it.
Screen-reversing switch (G-sensor lock)
Unlock: When you rotate the device, the screen display will automatically reverse.
Lock: When you rotate the device, the screen display will not reverse.
Home key
Press this key to directly return to the desk.
MENU key
After the device turns on, press this key to pop up a menu of “Hide Current Mode”,
displayed or hidden in the bottom of display screen.
Volume (+)
Press this key to adjust volume, making it louder. The LCD will display
corresponding graphic.

Volume (-)
Press this key to adjust volume, making it lower. The LCD will display
corresponding graphic.
Charging indicator light
When you charge the built-in lithium battery (use the adapter accessorized), this
light will illuminate. And when the battery is fully charged, it extinguishes.
Charging interface
Through this interface, the device may be charged by the adapter accessorized.
The computer bottom may turn very hot. Please be careful when you operate the
computer or get ready to operate it. It is normal to feel hot during charging or
operation. Do not use it on any soft surface, such as bed or sofa. This will prevent
the heat emission. Do not put the computer on your legs or any other part of your
body to avoid injury by heat.
Earphone interface
Insert stereo earphone to enjoy high tone music or video. Use this interface and the
built-in speaker will automatically turns off its sound.
Note: We recommend to lower the device volume before inserting the earphone to
protect your ears.
USB1
Through this interface, external accessories like USB flash disk and mouse can be
connected to the device, which has the plug-and-play function to directly read or

use the data from USB flash disk or other external accessories.
USB2
It has OTG function to be connected to PC. After connection, the computer can
directly read the data from TF card of the MID.
HDMI interface
When you play video, connect this device to HD TV with HDMI connecting wire,
and press the MENU key to output the video/aural signal to the HD TV for play.
Press the MENU key again, and the video/aural signal will be switched back to
MID.
TF card socket
The TF card may be inserted for use, and the device will automatically identify it.
Pay attention to the inserting direction. When the device reads the data from the
card, please do not pull it out.
Speaker
Please do not block the speaker when the device is playing music in order not to
impact the music sound.
2. Get started
2.1 Charging the battery
The MID has a built-in battery. When the power is to run out, the system will
recommend you to charge it.
Charging method:

1. Insert the power adapter, and the battery charging indicator light illuminates,
which means the battery is being charged. When the battery is fully charged, the
indicator light will automatically extinguish.
2. During charging, MID can still be used.
3. It is strongly recommended to use standard power adapter accessorized to avoid
damages to the device.
2.2 Turn on/off
Turn on: When the battery power is sufficient, press the POWER key directly to
turn on the device;
Turn off: When the device is on, press and hold the POWER key for 5 seconds, and
the system will return to shut-down confirmation menu. Slide the key to unlock,
and the device turns off.
As for the detailed instructions on the software, please refer to online help. This
item requires Internet support.
3. Precautions
3.1 Forced turn-off
Press and hold the POWER key for about 7 seconds, and the MID will be forced to
shut down.
3.2 Resume default setting
To resume factory setting and delete all information, please press
MENU-Setting-Privacy-Resume factory setting. Warning: Choose reset the device

will delete the data of applicable procedures manually installed and the applicable
procedures set and downloaded. Please use this function prudently.
3.3 Protect touch screen
Please do not touch LCD with pointed articles to avoid damages to the screen.
3.4 Please use the power adapter accessorized with this device
It is strongly recommended to use the power adapter accessorized for charging and
use, to avoid damages to the device.
Warning: Changes or modifications to this unit not expressly approved by the
party responsible for compliance could void the user’s authority to operate the
equipment.
NOTE: This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for
a Class B digital device, pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits
are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a
residential installation. This equipment generates, uses and can radiate radio
frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the
instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio communications.
However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular
installation. If this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or
television reception, which can be determined by turning the equipment off and
on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more of
the following measures:

Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.
Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver.
Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from
that to which the receiver is connected.
Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for
help.
Shielded cables & Shielded HDMI cable with two ferrite ring must be
used with this unit to ensure compliance with the Class B FCC limits.
