User Manual

User Manual Before using the BuzzFinder, you should carefully read the instructions. Please note that the instructions are also available on our website at www.buzz-finder.com First of all, start by testing your device by pressing on button 1 of the remote control. The device should make a sound. Place a sticker or attach a cord to the device and fix it on the desired object. Finding an object Find an object by pressing on button 1 of the remote control. If the object on which the sound device is attached to is within range, you will hear a sound every four seconds during a 30 second span. You may repeat this action to hear the sound again. Once you have found the object, press button 1 once again to stop the sound. If the object is out of range, you will hear three beeps from the remote control. Finding a remote control Find a remote control by pressing on button 2 of the remote control. If the other remote control is within range, you will hear a sound every four seconds during a 30 second span. You may repeat this action to hear the sound again. Once you have found the other remote control, press button 1 once again to stop the sound. If the other remote control is out of range, you will hear three beeps from the remote control. *Some factors may alter the performance of this device such as interference between the remote control and the sound device caused by concrete walls, numerous walls or low battery charge. Changing the battery Each module comes with a battery. When you hear three consecutive beeps, this means you need to change the battery. This signal will repeat itself every 60 minutes. You will need to change the battery if you wish to continue using your BuzzFinder. To replace a module’s battery, you will need a screwdriver. The battery is located on the back of the device. Before opening the device, make sure you touch metal to remove any electrostatic charges from your body. Such charges may cause permanent damages to the microchip. Then, remove the cover and remove the microchip with the screwdriver by taking it out off its socket. Place a new battery in the socket and make sure the positive sign (+) is on top. Fixing a conflict between devices
Even though your BuzzFinder has a unique identification programming, it doesn’t mean it cannot come in conflict with another BuzzFinder owner. To fix this problem, gather both remote controls and the sound device together. Press simultaneously on both buttons of one of the remote control. Each module should make a sound. This means your problem is solved. Caution: Changes or modifications not expressly approved by SOS Finder Inc. could void the user’s authority to operate the equipment.
