 2REMOTE FUNCTION AND OPERATOIN FOR MODEL 838 CAR ALARM SYSTEM  FCC/ID   Q6W838 FCC NOTICE: (b) For a Class B digital device or peripheral, the instructions furnished the user shall include the following or similar statement, placed in a prominent location in the text of the manual:   Note: This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital device, pursuant to part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a residential installation. This equipment generates, uses and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio communications. However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular installation. If this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or television reception, which can be determined by turning the equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more of the following measures:

To press button on the remote to activate the alarm system:  Press button    --- in general status: to arm the car and lock door in 3 seconds.                    --- in driving status: to lock door                --- in alarm status:  to stop alarm and return to the arm status.  Press button  --- in armed status: to disarm the car and unlock door.              --- in driving status: to unlock door.                     --- in alarm status:    to stop alarm, disarm the car and unlock door. Arming in alarm mode: Press button  on the remote, the doors will be locked with a short chirp and a indicators flash, the LED light flashes slowly to indicate that the system is armed in alarm mode in 3 seconds.  2. Arming in mute mode: Press button  on the remote to activate mute armed mode. The indicators flash once, and the LED light flashes slowly to indicate that the system will be armed in mute mode in 3 seconds.   3.  Disarming In alarm mode, press button  to disarm the system with two beeps and two indicators flashes. In mute mode, press button  to disarm the system with two indicators flashes.  4. Auto central control door lock/unlock To press foot brake in 15 seconds after the car has been started, central control door lock will lock the door automatically for your safety during the driving. When the car stops, the door will be unlocked automatically.   In driving status, press button  to lock the doors or press button to unlock the doors.

Locating the car in a parking lot with sound and light To press button  for 3 seconds, then the siren will beep for 2 seconds and the direction light will   flash simultaneously to locate the car.  6. Emergency aid During your driving, press button  , the siren will chirp for 15 seconds and the direction light will flash simultaneously for emergency aid. Press button  to stop this function.  7. Anti-burglary and anti-hijacking (optional) In driving status, press button  for 2 seconds ,the direction light will blink quickly, press  button again to enter the anti-hijacking mode. Alarm Mode Armed: Press button  on the remote, the control unit will receive the alarm mode signal from the remote. The indicators will flash once and the siren will beeper. Then all the doors will lock, the system will be armed in 3 seconds in alarm mode.    In alarm armed status, the first impact to vehicle will trigger the alarm. The control unit will receive the impacted signal from the shock sensor and transfer the signal to siren and indicators. Then the siren will chirp for 5 seconds, the indicators will flash.    The second impact in 15 seconds after the first impact will trigger the alarm again. The control unit will receive the impact signal from the shock sensor and transfer the signal to siren, indicators and engine. Then the siren will chirp for 30 seconds, the indicators will flash, and the engine will be immobilized.      If there is no continuous impact to the vehicle, the alarm status will last for 30 seconds, and then will return to alarm armed status.
 8When the system is triggered by opened door, Acc on, the siren will chirp 30 seconds with indicators flash, the engine will be immobilized.   2. Mute Armed: Press button  on the remote, the control unit will receive the mute mode signal from the remote. The indicators will flash once, the doors will be locked, and the system will be armed in 3 seconds in mute mode.    In mute armed status, the first impact to vehicle will trigger the alarm. The control unit will receive the impacted signal from the shock sensor and transfer the signal to the indicators. The indicators will flash 5 times without sound..    The second impact in 15 seconds after the first impact will trigger the alarm again. The control unit will receive the impact signal from the shock sensor and transfer the signal to direction light, engine and the emitter. Then the indicators will flash for 30 seconds without sound, and the engine will be immobilized.    If there is no continuous impact to the vehicle, the mute alarm status will last for 30 seconds, and then will return to mute armed status.

Warning for unlocked door/trunk  After arming, if the door is not properly locked, there will be three warning beeps to warn you to lock the door properly.  4. Auto rearming  If the alarm system has been disarmed and the driver’s door has not been opened within 25 seconds. The shock sensor will send the signal to the control unit, and the control unit will re-arm the system by itself.  5. Anti false disarm     Your unintentional impact on remote button may cause false disarming. If the door is not opened or the engine does not start within 25 seconds, it will be regarded as false disarming and the system will return to arming mode automatically.  6. Disarming mode warning 10 seconds after you have left the parked car with the door closed, there will be three beeps to warn you to arm the system.
 10Functions 7. Warning for roadside stop When the car stops on the roadside with the door open, the indicators will blink to warn to the approaching vehicles.  8. Auto central control door lock/unlock To press foot brake in 15 seconds after the car has been started, central control door lock will lock the door automatically for your safety during the driving. When the car stops, the door will be unlocked automatically.   During your driving, press button  to lock the door or press button  to unlock the door.  9. Impact memory In arming mode, if the car has been impacted, when you open the door, the siren will beep to remind you to check the possible damage happened. Functions 10.  Emergency alarm In arming mode, opening the door, turning ACC on or impacting the foot brake will make the siren chirp sharply for 30 seconds.  11. Status preserving
 11When the power wire is cut off, the control unit will preserve the status and when the power is supplied the system will return to the former status in 5 seconds.  12. Override reset switch In the event the remote is lost or inoperative, the system can be disarmed by override reset switch: • Enter the vehicle and turn the key to Acc position. The siren will chirp sharply. • Press the foot brake and press override reset switch 5 times continuously. The LED light will turn on. The alarm will stop sounding and enter the disarm mode. You can now start and operate the vehicle normally. press   the to recover the system.(It is highly recommended to hide this override switch in a position only known to you.    13. LED memory of attacking degree Normal status         :  two continuous LED blinks of three intervals Attacked             :  four continuous LED blinks of three intervals Door has been opened :    blink continuously  14. Disable the former remote Press the learning button in the control box for 10 seconds to cancel the former remotes.  15. Code learning
 12Press the learning button in the control box for 2 seconds, the LED light turns on, the press the button   in both remote in 10 seconds. The two new remote are ok. Only two remote controllers are functional for car alarm system with code hopping function, the lost remote controller will not operate the system again.
