WR-2 Alarm Receiver
User Manual
WR-2 is a centralized alarm receiver to receive alarms transmitted by
different models of alarm Transmitters: WT-1, WP-1, WFM-1. It gives
audio and visual indication to tell which programmed transmitter is
sending the alarm.

3.1 9V AC adapter
4. Installation
4.1 Plug in the AC adapter
4.2 Press the Power button to turn on the power. The red LED should be
ON.
4.3 Program the alarm transmitters into the monitor locations using the
procedures in Section 5.
4.4 Test the completion of installation by pressing the “Check” button
on the Model WT-1 transmitter or activate an alarm from the Pendant
(Model WP-1)or wireless floor mat transmitter(Model WFM-1)
5. Program a Model WT-1 Sentry Transmitter Location
5.1 Press PROPRAM button on Receiver for two seconds
5.2 Green LED will lit
5.3 Red Station LED will flash
5.4 Alarm tone pattern #1 will sound at low level
5.5 Press PROGRAM button to select the next empty location
5.6 Alarm tone pattern #2 will sound at low level
5.7 Press CHECK button on Transmitter until a long beep is heard from
the Receiver and the station LED stops flashing
5.8 Press PROGRAM to program next empty station
5.9 Press CONFIRM button to return to normal monitor mode
5.10 programming can be checked any time by pressing the CHECK button
on the Transmitter
6. Program a Model WP-1 Pendant Location
6.1 Press PROPRAM button on Receiver for two seconds
6.2 Green LED will lit
6.3 Red LED will flash indicating the first empty station location
6.4 Alarm tone pattern #1 will sound at low level
6.5 Press PROGRAM button to select the next empty location
6.6 Alarm tone pattern #2 will sound at low level
6.7 Press ALARM button on Pendant until a long beep is heard from the
Receiver and the station LED stops flashing
6.8 Press PROGRAM to program next empty station
6.9 Press CONFIRM button to return to normal monitor mode
7. Program a Model WFM-1 Sentry Mat Location
7.1 Press PROGRAM button on Receiver for two seconds
7.2 Green LED will lit
7.3 Red LED will flash indicating the first empty station location
7.4 Alarm tone pattern #1 will sound at low level
7.5 Press PROGRAM button to select the next empty location
7.6 Alarm tone pattern #2 will sound at low level
7.7 Press the Floor Mat to close the contact until a long beep is heard
from the Receiver and the station LED stops flashing
7.8 Press PROGRAM to program next empty station
7.9 Press CONFIRM button to return to normal monitor mode
8. Program a Model WSR-1 Repeater
8.1 Press PROPRAM button on Receiver for two seconds
8.2 Green LED will lit
8.3 Press CHECK button on Repeater until a long beep is heard from the
Receiver and the station LED stops flashing
9. Error tone in Programming
9.1 If all locations are occupied, sound an error tone “beep beep beep”
after PROGRAM button is pressed
9.2 If the same ID as an programmed device is received, sound en error
tone “beep beep beep beep”

To erase a programmed location
Press Program and alarm Reset button together for two seconds
The first programmed location LED will flash
Alarm tone pattern #1 will sound at low level
Press Program to select the next location
Alarm tone pattern #2 will sound at low level
Press Alarm Reset to erase a location
A long beep will sound and the LED will be off
Press Confirm button to return to normal monitor mode

Receiving Sentry alarms
11.1 when an alarm is triggered, the LED will flash at 2 Hz and the
corresponding alarm pattern will sound
11.2 Care taker should press the ALARM RESET button to indicate that
someone will visit the patient.
11.3 The LED will stop flashing but remains lit.
11.4 If there are more than one alarm received, press the ALARM RESET
button again will select the next alarm location
11.5 The corresponding alarm pattern will sound
11.6 Press CONFIRM button to select the station to visit
11.7 The LED will flash slowly at one second interval
11.8 After the alarming situation is cleared, the Alarm transmitter
will send a signal to the Receiver to turn off the LED
11.9 If the alarm is from a Pendant or Floor Mat the LED will be off
after steps 10.1 – 10.6.

Out of Range Monitoring (for Transmitter Model WT-1 only)
Out of range is checked by the receiver every 60 seconds.
12.2 Operating procedure is same as Sentry alarm except a single tone
alarm at 2 HZ is sounded.

Battery Low Indication
13.1 When Battery Low message is received, the corresponding LED will
flash at 0.5 Hz.
13.2 Other operating procedure is same as Sentry alarm except

Log off Sentry Transmitter
14.1 When an alarm is triggered, Care giver can log off the Sentry
Transmitter by steps 10.4 – 10.7
14.2 The Receiver will not monitor out of range for a logged off
Transmitter.
