Ifyourscooterseemstopulltotheleftorright,youmayneedtorecalibrateitssensors.Theprocessrequirestwolevels,available
atanyhardwarestore.Manysmartphoneshavefree“bubblelevel”appsaswell.
Step1:Poweroffthescooter.
Step2:Placeeachlevelparallelwiththewheeltouchingtheinsideofthewheelbase.
Step3:Rotatethescooteruntilbothlevelsoneachwheelbasearelevel.Ifyoudonothavealevel,make
surebothplatformsareequalwitheachotherandleveltothegroundasbestaspossible.
Step4:Whilekeepingthescooterlevel,holdthepowerbuttondown.Thescooterwillmakethenormalpowerontone.Wait3
secondsandyouwillhearasinglebeep.Releasethepowerbutton.FrontLEDswillbeginashing.Powerthescooteroff.
Step5:Poweronagain.Thescootershouldnowbecalibrated.Ifthescooterisstillnot
calibratedcorrectly,gotostep1andbeginmakingminoradjustments.

• SelfBalancingElectricScooterusesDynamicequilibrium,usinginternalgyroscopeandaccelerationsensors.Thestatus
oftheelectricscooteriscontrolledbythecenter-ofgravity.Itisadjustedbymotorwhichiscontrolledbytheservocontrol
system.Whenyouleanforward,itwillsenseyouractionstoaccelerate.Whenyouneedtoturn,slowitdownandmoveyour
footforwardsorbackwardsthenthecenter-ofgravityofthebodymovesleftorrightthereforethescootercansensemoving
leftorright.
• SelfBalancingElectricScooterhasinertialdynamicstabilizationsystem,soitcankeepanterior-posteriorbalancebutcannot
guaranteetheleftandright.Sowhenturning,thescooterneedstobeoperatedslowing,otherwise,youmaygetinjured.

3.1 Pedal sensor
SelfBalancingElectricScooterhas4sensorsbelowthepedal,whentheoperatorstepsonthepedal,thescooterwilladjustitself
toabalancingpatternautomatically.
Whenridingit,youhavetomakesurethatthepedalisbeingsteppedon,pleasedon’tsteponthepartsoutsidethepedal.
Don’tputthingsonthepedalstomakethescooteroperatebyitselfandincreasethepossibilityofcrashingandevencause
personalinjuryanddamgetothescooteritself.
3.2 Battery & Operation Indicators
Theindicatorislocatedinthemiddleofthescooter.Itisusedforoperationinformation.
• Batteryindicatorpart:Greenlightmeansfullycharged,whenthegreenlightturnsyellow,meansthereishalfbattery,turns
redmeans20%battery,thescooterneedscharging.
• Operationindicator:Whenthepedalistriggered,theoperationindicatorwilllightthenthesystemcomesintooperating
condition;whenthesystemrunsanerror,theindicatorwillturnred.

Therangeperchargeisrelatedtomanyfactors,forexample:

Step1: Pressthepowerbuttontoturnonthescooter.
Step2: Putthescooteronaatgroundandmakesureallsafetymeasuresaretaken.Putone
footonthepadthatwilltriggerthepedalswitchtoturnontheoperationindicator,after
thesystementerstheself-balancingmode,puttheotherfootonthepad.
Step3: Takecontrolofthescooterforwardsorbackwards,dorememberthemovementofyourbodyshouldn’tbeabrupt.
Ifyouarenotinabalancedconditionwhenyoutriggerthefoot-switch,thebuzzerwillalarm,andthewarningLEDwilllight.The
systemisnotinaselfbalancedcondition.Withoutabalancedconditionyoushouldn’toperatethescooter.

5.2 Scooter will not operate in the following situations:
• Duringoperation,ifthesystemrunsanerror,thescooterwillpromptoperatorsindifferentwayssuchasprohibitriding,alarm

• Overspeeding.
• Thebatteryisnotchargedenough.
• Tirestall,twosecondslatertheelectricscooterenterspoweroffmode.
• Thebatteryvoltageislowerthantheprotectionvalue,15secondslatertheelectricscooterentersintopoweroffmode.
• Continuinglargecurrentdischarge(suchasalong-timeclimbingaverysteepslope),15secondslatertheelectricscooter

When the scooter enters into the shutdown state, the system will lock down the machine automatically. It can be
unlocked when you press the power button. When the battery has been depleted or the system gives out infor-
mation with safety shutdown, please do not continue to drive the scooter, otherwise, the scooter cannot balance
for the lack of battery. In this condition, the driver is likely to be harmed. If the battery reaches the minimum, the
continued driving of the scooter will negatively affect the battery’s life.
5.3 Riding practice
Beforeyoudrivethescooteroutdoors,pleasemakesureyouarefamiliarwiththeskillsofdrivingit:
• Trytowearcasualclothingandwearatshoestomaintaintheexibilityofthebody.
• Pleasegotoopenspacestopracticedrivingthescooteruntilyoucaneasilygetonandgetoff.
• Makesurethepavementiseven.
• Whenyouaredrivingondifferentterrain,youmustslowdown.
• Selfbalancingelectricscooterisatransportationtooldesignedforasmoothroad.Whenitisoperatingonunevenpavement,
theusershouldslowdown.
• Pleaseavoiddrivinginplaceswithpedestriansorobstacles.

to,andbatteryspecications.Forsafetyofyourselfandothers,andextendthebattery’slifeandimprovebatteryperformance,
pleasemakesuretofollowthefollowingoperations.
7.1 Low battery
Whenyoundthebatteryindicatorisredandashing,itindicateslowbattery.Itisrecommendedthatyoustopdriving.Whenthe
powerislow,thereisnotenoughenergyforyournormaldriving,thenthesystemwillautomaticallytiltthebaseoftheplatformto
prohibittheoperator’suse.Itisveryeasytofallifyouinsistondrivingatthistime,andalsonegativelyaffectbattery’slife.
• Donotusethebatteryinthefollowingcases.
1.Givingoutsomeodororexcessiveheat.
2.Leakageofanysubstance.
• Itisprohibitedtodisassemblethebattery.
• Donottouchanysubstanceleakingoutofthebattery.
• Donotletchildrenandanimalstouchthebattery.
• Batteriescontaindangeroussubstancesinside,donotopenthebattery,donotinsertanythingintothebattery.
• Onlyusechargersofferedbyourcompany.
• Don’toverchargelithiumbatteries.
Whenyoundthebatteryindicatorisredandashing,itindicateslowbattery.Itisrecommendedthatyoustopdrivingand
rechargethescooter.Whenthebatteryislow,thereisnotenoughpowerfornormaldriving.Theoperationalsystemofthe
scooterwillautomaticallytilttheplatformforwardtoprohibituse.Thiscouldcausethedrivertofalloffthescooterandbecome
injured.

• Ensurethechargingportisdry.
• PlugthepoweradapterintotheDCpowerportonthebackofthescooterandastandardpoweroutlet.Makesurethegreen
indicatorontheadaptorlightsup.
• Whentheredindicatorlightsonthechargerindicateschargingproperly,otherwisecheckifthelineisconnectproperly.
• Whentheindicatorlightonthechargerchangesfromredtogreen,thisindicatesthatthebatteryisfullycharged.
• Inthiscase,pleasestopcharging.Overchargingwillaffectthebatterylife.
• Thechargingtimeisapproximately2hours,overchargingwillnegativelyaffectbattery’slife.
• Pleasekeepthechargingenvironmentcleananddry.
