In the event ofan electrical short circuit, grounding reduces therisk of electric shock by providing an escape wirefor the electrical current. This appliance isequipped with a cord that includes a groundingwire and a grounding plug. The plug must beplugged into an outlet that is properly installed andgrounded. Plug the three-prong power cord into aproperly grounded outlet of standard 115-120 volt-age, 60 Hz. Your oven should be the only applianceon this circuit.WARNINGImproper use of the grounding plug can resultin a risk of electric shock.
