Do not place the PDP on an unstable cart, stand, tripod, bracket, table, or

Operate your l’DI’ only from the type of power source indicated on the marking label. If you are not
sure of the type of power supplied to your home, consult your appliance dealer or local power com
pany.
Use only a grounded or polarized outlet. For your salety, this I’DP is equipped with a puiarized
alternating current line plug haying one blade Wider than the other. This plug will fit into the power
outlet only one Way. if you are unable to insert the plug fully into the outlet, try reversing the plug. If
the plug still does not fit, contact your electrician to replace your outlet

Unplug the PDP from the wall outlet and disconnect the antenna or cable system during a lightning

unit due to lightning and power-line surges,

overhead power lines or other electric light or power CIYCLIIIS or where it can fall into such power
lines or circuits. When installing an outside antenna system, be extremely careful to keep it om
touching the power lines orcircuits. Contact with such lines can be fatal.
Do not overload the wall oullei or Extension ctirrls. Overloading can result in flre or elecltic shock

Ground outdoor antennas. if an outside antenna or cable system is connected to the PDP, be sure the
antenna or cable system is grounded so as to provide some protection against voltage surges and
built-up static charges Section 810 ufthe National Electrical Code, ANSI/NFPA No.70r1984,
provides information about proper grounding of the mast and supporting structure, grounding of the
lead-in wire to an antenna discharge unit, size of grounding conductors, location of antenna
discharge unit, connection to grounding electrodes, and requirements for the grounding electrode.
Do not attempt to service the PDF’ yourself. Reler all servicing to qualified serv'it'e personnel. Unplug
the unit from the wall outlet and refer servicing to qualified service personnel under the following
conditions:

Viewing the Picture In Picture (PIP)
You can display a sub picture within the main picture. In this way
you can monitor the video input from any connected devices while
monitoring other video input.
1 Press the MENU button
