Installingyourbattery.
Toinstallyourbattery,justfollowthesesimplesteps:
1.Holdthebatterywiththelabelracingdown,makingsurethemetalcontactsatthebaseofthe
basebatterylineupwiththemetalcontactsonthebaseofthephone.
2.Placeitonthebackofthephonewiththetopofthebatteryaboutaquarter ofaninchfrom
thelatch.
3.Gentlyslidethebatterytowardthetopofthephoneuntilitclicksintoplace.
Turningyourphoneonandoff
Whenyou'rereadytoturnonyourSamsungDBTMPhone,checktoseethatthechargedbattery
hasbeeninstalledinthebackofthephoneorthatyouhaveanexternalpowersource(theRapid
CigaretteLighterAdapterortheHands-FreeCarKit).Then,Simplypressandhold<END>.
Theredlightflashesbrieflyandthebannerisdisplayed,whichmeansyou'rereadytomakeacall.
Turningoffthephoneisjustassimple.Pressandhold<END>fortwoseconds.Thedisplaywill
beblankwhenthepowerisoff.
Removingyourbattery.
1.First,turnthepowerofftoavoidlosingstorednumbersandmessages.
2.Pressthebatteryreleaselatchonthebackofthephonewhileslidingthebatterydowntoward
thebaseofthephone.
Chargingyourbattery.
Youcantellwhetherornotyourbatteryneedstoberechargedjustbycheckingthelower-right
cornerofyourphone'sdisplay,wherethebatterychargeindicatorislocated.Whenthebattery
chargelevelislow,thebatteryiconwillblinkandthephonewillsoundatone.
Ifyoucontinuetouseyourphonewithoutrechargingandthebatterylevelbecomestoolowitwill
turnoffautomatically.Analerttonewillsoundjustbeforethephoneturnsitselfoff.Ifthis
happens,unfortunatelyyou'lllosewhateveryouwerejustdoing.So,watchtheindicatorandmake
sureyourlevelisokay.
Tochargeyourbattery,youshouldusetheSamsungDBTMRapidDesktopCharger,TravelCharger
orRapidCigaretteLighterAdapterfromSamsung.
Usingtherapiddesktopcharger.
ShouldonlyusetheSamsung-approvedrapiddesktopchargerandACadapterwiththisSamsung
DBTMPhone.Usingthewrongonecouldcausedamage.

2.Inserteitherthebatterypackaloneorthephonewiththebatterypackinstalledintothe
chargerslot.

Ifyourbattery'schargeiscompletelyrundown,itwilltakeabouttwohourstofullyrechargeit.

Rechargingthebatterywithoutfirstcompletelydischargingitmayshortenthelifeofthebattery.If
