Instead, it uses Bone Conduction Microphone technology to convert vibrations from your jawbone into sound. 5EnglishYour headset uses a rechargeable battery. 64Remove the adapter from the case.• Always store the headset with the power off and make sure it is safely protected.• Avoid storage at high temperatures (above 50° C / 122° F), such as in a hot vehicle or in direct sunlight. Storage at high temperatures can damage performance and reduce battery life.• Do not expose the headset or any of its supplied parts to rain or other liquids.Do not attempt to charge the headset with anything other than the adapter provided. 8Pairing will create a unique and encrypted wireless link between two Bluetooth enabled devices, such as your Bluetooth phone and Bluetooth headset. 1Make sure that the headset is off (see Turning the headset on/off).Flashes in blue every 3 seconds.Quick series of 2 tones.(Standby mode starts.) • The headset is in Standby mode.• The headset is waiting for a call.• The headset can be in Standby mode up to 70 hours.*Flashes in red.5 tones every 20 seconds.The battery of the headset is low. • There is less than 10% of battery power left. 9English2Press and hold the Multi-Function button until the blue indicator light stays on after blinking.3Set your Bluetooth phone to discover the headset by following your phone’s guide.Typically, the steps involve going to a ‘Settings,’ ‘Connection’, or ‘Bluetooth’ menu on your phone and then selecting the option to discover Bluetooth devices.4Your phone will find the Samsung WEP400 headset and ask if you want to pair with it. 10• If pairing was successful, the indicator light will flash in blue 10 times rapidly before going to flashing every 3 seconds. 12Wear the headset on your ear and bend the rubber spring within the contours of your ear to keep the headset stable.In general, you will get better performance when there are no obstructions (including parts of your body) between the headset and the phone.You are supplied with two different rubber springs including the one attached to the headset. 14When a call comes in, the headset sounds series of 2 tones and flashes the blue indicator twice. Press the Multi-Function button.Press [Volume up] on the side of the headset to increase the volume level and [Volume down] to decrease the volume level.Press and hold [Volume up] or [Volume down] to switch off the headset's microphone. To switch it back on, press and hold either one again.Answering a call Do not hold the Multi-Function button down too long when redialling the last number, ending, or answering a call. 18Will the headset interfere with my car’s electronics, radio, or computer?The headset produces significantly less power than a typical mobile phone. It also only emits signals that are in compliance with the international Bluetooth standard. Therefore, you should not expect any interference with standard consumer-grade electronics equipment.Can other Bluetooth phone users hear my conversation?When you pair the headset to your Bluetooth phone, you are creating a private link between only these two Bluetooth devices.
