The DVD player Output is setted HDMI / COMPONENT (P-SCAN) out automatically within 10 seconds. HDMI-DVI Setup 1. Connect an HDMI-DVI cable and an audio cable to the TV and set TV input to “DVI”. 2. Turn on the DVD Player. 3. The DVD player Output is setted HDMI / COMPONENT (P-SCAN) out automatically about within 10 seconds. OR * If an HDMI or an HDMI-DVI cable is unplugged in TV, the player output goes back COMPOSITE/S-VIDEO out. DVI IN DVI Audio Input DVI Input HDMI Input * If you want to use an analog Video Output, unplug an HDMI or HDMI-DVI cable. * If you set the HDMI output resolution 720P or 1080i, HDMI output provides better picture quality. We have manufactured this product to provide you with many hours of Audio / Video Entertainment. This "HDMI/DVI Setup Guide" has been included to get you up and running in the least amount of time as possible. However, if you still have questions about this product, please contact our customer service center. Action HDMI/DVI output shows a distorted image on the left of your TV screen. Make sure that no DVD is playing in your DVD player by pressing the stop button. Press the MENU button on your remote control. Within the Display Setup/HDMI Menu, select either Mode A or Mode B to set up the DVI output; you should choose the mode which provides a distortion free image. The HDMI/DVI output provides a poor resolution or no resolution at all. Make sure that DVD Player tray is empty, press the fast forward button on the DVD Player, not on the Remote control, for at least 5 seconds. This action will reset the DVD Player to the default mode, 576P HDMI Output. There is no sound when you connect the DVI to your TV. HDMI-DVI cable only supports video output. For your audio connection with the use of a HDMI-DVI cable, you must connect left and right audio cables from your DVD player to the DVI audio inputs on your TV. If your TV is not compatible with compressed multi-channel formats(Dolby Digital, DTS, MPEG), you should set Digital Audio to PCM(See the user’s manual). If your TV is not compatible with LPCM sampling rate over 48kHz, you should set PCM Down sampling to On(See the user’s manual). SACD audio is only avaliable through the analog outputs.
