INSTALLATION OF THE EN'POINT TRANSCEIVER teT!
MODEL NUMBER: 25-1962
This device complies with part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is
subject to the following two conditions: (1) This device may not cause
harmfirl interference, and (2) this device must accept any interference
received, including interference that may cause undesired operation.
The endpoint Transceiver is built to be mounted in a location away
from metal surfaces, and orientated such that the shortest side is vertical.
The ambient temperature range of the eT is —40 to +70 degrees C with less
than 95% humidity.
The eT can be powered by any dc power source from 10.5 to 15.5
volts capable of supplying 1 amp with less than 150 millivolts p-p of ripple
into the 6-pin header, J 1. This connector also provides the serial interface
connections, which are 3V TI‘L compatible.
The pinout for the connector is as follows:-
Pin 1 Power input (10.5 — 15.5Vdc)
Pin 2 Power Ground
Pin 3 Signal Ground
Pin 4 NC
Pin 5 TX data
Pin 6 RX data
The eT is designed to receive and transmit using two loop antennae having
omnidirectional gains of not more than -5 dBi.
Before application of DC power connectors are completely engaged, and
that the DC source is in the range between 10.5 and 15.5 volts dc.
Warning: Any modifications to the unit, unless expressly approved by
Schlumberger, may void the users authority to operate the equipment.
