‘ GAS’L’EAKAGEaDETECTORiGA-ZS' " INTRODUCTION The GA-ZS is a gas detector, It uses electrochemical sensor to detect LNG(Liquefled natural gas) and LPG (Liquefied petroleum gas). The GA-ZS is built in a radio transmitter, it sends check-in signal to LS-30 base unit regularly, and sends alarm signal when it‘s trlggered by LNG or LPG. INSTALLATION “M L Put the GA-ZS close to LS-30 Base LED Unit, and plug in the power cord (Red) of the GA-ZSl rowm _ 2, Select “Installer Mode" on the motnaron LS-30 Base Unit, and enter (Green) Installer Password to gain access authority. Then select \Set Device\Enroll Devlce\l-‘ire Sensor\Enter Zone No. to enroll the ID of GA-ZS by presslng its TEST button. You may change its various attributes under \Set Device\Change Device Settlng\Fire Sensor Change, to fulfill different requirements. For lnltial installalion, thls can be done through computer with supplied sofiware too, it‘s easier. 3‘ To detect leakage of natural gas, the detector should he placed at a higher position near the ceiling, because Natural Gas is lighter than alri For LPG, a proper location for detection is about 300m above the floor, since LPG is heavier than air. Refer to the figure below. For LNG {H rayon, eman- or £004 Alcohol) For LPG (Isa butane) it 4‘ After the power ofthe GA-ZS is plugged In, the red LED lights up for l minute or so, and then the green LED llghts up while the red LED extinguishes. To test the GA—ZS, you can put a gas lighter closely to the bottom of the detector, and then leak its gas for about 3 seconds. The GA-ZS would beep with the red LED light up. It would trigger “FIRE" alum of the LS-30 system at the some time Important notice: The GA-ZS uses an electrochemical sensor wlwse life is ubnui 5 years, the user slum/1! replace a new (FA—ZS before its life time expires.
