Unscrew to open Back Panel of transmitter Battery cover Cable Antenna tube 5 x AA batteries OFF 1 x 9 Volt Battery ON Battery cover On/Off switch DIAGRAM #1 DIAGRAM #2 DIAGRAM #3 DIAGRAM #4 1+A On 1+B 3+B ON Steering alignment lever OFF 1 2 Stop 3+A DIAGRAM #5 DIAGRAM #6 BATTERY INSTALLATION (For maximum performance, use alkaline batteries) Remember to take out all batteries from vehicle and transmitter after playing. 1. Do not mix old and new batteries. 2. Do not mix alkaline, standard (Carbon-Zinc), or rechargeable batteries. ATTENTION PARENTS It is recommended that this toy and all accessories be periodically examined for potential hazards and that any potentially hazardous parts be repaired or replaced. HOW TO INSTALL BATTERY IN VEHICLE 1. Make sure the “ON/OFF” switch at the underside of the vehicle is at the “OFF” position. (See Diagram 1) 2. Unscrew to open the battery cover. (See Diagram 1) 3. Insert 5 “AA” batteries by matching the (+) and (–) signs as indicated in the battery compartment. 4. Replace the battery lid. HOW TO INSTALL BATTERY IN TRANSMITTER 1. Slide open the battery cover at the back of the transmitter and put the 9'V' battery inside following the engraved sign. (See Diagram 3) 2. Replace the battery cover. Note: Remove battery after you have finished using your vehicle. HOW TO PLAY START TO PLAY 1. Build up antenna by passing the cable through the antenna tube provided and plug into the vehicle tightly. Otherwise, the vehicle will not work. (See Diagram #4) 2. Push the ON/OFF switch to the "ON" position of the vehicle. (See Diagram #5) 2. Operate the vehicle with the transmitter (See Diagram #7). 3. Turn OFF the vehicle and the transmitter after playing and remove all batteries from the transmitter and the car. Changes or modifications not expressly approved by the Responsible Party may cause interference and void the user’s authority to operate the equipment. FRONT WHEELS STEERING ADJUSTMENT 1. If the vehicle does not run straight forward, adjust the lever for satisfactory alignment on the underside of the vehicle. (See Diagram #6) 2. If the vehicle runs towards left, turn "Steering Alignment Lever" towards "R". 3. If the vehicle runs towards right, turn "Steering Alignment Lever" towards "L". CAUTIONS 1. Do not charge battery pack that is hot, wet or shows leakage or corrosion. 2. May explode if disposed of in fire! 3 Do not disassemble the battery pack. 4. Non-rechargeable batteries are not to be recharged. 5. Rechargeable batteries are to be removed from the toy before being charged. 6. Rechargeable battery pack is only to be charged by adult or by children at least 8 year old. 7. Different types of batteries or new and used batteries are not to be mixed. 8. Only batteries of the same or equivalent type as recommended are to be used. 9. Batteries are to be inserted with the correct polarity. 10. Exhausted batteries are to be removed from the toy. 11. The supply terminals are not to be short-circuited. 12. The antenna wires are not to be inserted into socket outlet.
