CONNECTING THE TUNESHlFf
1 Plug the TUNESHIFT into the cigarette lighter or t2v DC power socket in yourdash
The frequency display helps you indicate that the TUNESHlFr has power.
2. For iPod‘llPhcne"/MF3 players, usethe 3.5mm to 3.5mm audio cable (lllustration “B“). lnseit the
3 5mm cable into the headphone lack or the lPod/lPhone/MPS player then plug the other end or the cable
to the 3 5mm input on the nmESrllFT (located on the rear side ol the FMTDI - see illustration "0 ).

t. With the TUNESHlFT connected and all cable connections made, select or FM lrequency range by
pressing the [‘1 or H buttons on the TUNESHlFr, until your desired lrequenoy is selected (see illustration
“F") The lreouencies are oisplayeo on the LCD screen (see illustration “E"). Hlm: Scan your FM radio lor
the lrequency that comes through the LEAST as tar as signal goes, this may maximize the sound quality ol
the MP3 on your radio
2. Tune Ihe raoio to the corresponding station selected on the TUNESHlFr
. Power up and play your lPod/thonejMPa player. Vou should hear souno lrorn the chdfiPhone/MPS
player through your stereo speakers Adjust the volume on your portable player to about 54 ol the
maximum volume, and ltten adiust the volume output through the stereo For luture relerence
set the selected radio station to a FM radio preset button. ll there is excess/unwanted static/noise,
then select a oillerent lrequency on the TUNESHIFT and change the radio to the new selected lreouency
