resulting from or caused by any defect, failure or malfunctioning of the equipment
described herein, whether a claim for such loss or damages is based upon warranty,
contract or otherwise. The ECG/SpO2/Voice Transmitter/Receiver system,
manufactured by the ScottCare Corporation is designed to amplify and transmit
Rhythm Strips and SpO2 values along with voice transtelephonically, and the
SCOTTCARE CORPORATION MAKES NO CLAIMS OR WARRANTIES,
EXPRESS OR IMPLIED (INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF
MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE) AS
TO ITS EFFECTIVENESS AS A DIAGNOSTIC, LIFE SAVING OR LIFE
SUPPORT TOOL.
FCC Part 15 Information
The Telemetry Transmitter provided complies with the limits for a biomedical
telemetry device pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to
provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a residential installation.
Operation of the Telemetry equipment is subject to the following two conditions:
1. The Telemetry Transmitter may not cause harmful interference.
2. The Telemetry Transmitter must accept any interference received, including
interference that may cause undesired operation.
This Biomedical Telemetry device transmitter must be operated in accordance to the
provisions of CFR47 Part 15.242 (a)(d)(e)(f)(g) and (h).
Any changes or modification not expressly approved by ScottCare could void the
user’s authority to operate the Telemetry equipment.
