They also have a full bag or clog warning light and a soft bumper to protect the vacuum, furniture and walls from scuffs and scratches. The two AIRBELT K2 models offer a choice of straightsuction cleaning heads for use on hard floors and rugs. However, the AIRBELT K3 model offers a 12inchwide ET1 Power Head that deep cleans carpets and a hardfloor parquet brush. And the K3’s ergonomically designed handle, which also has a suction adjustment switch, provides user comfort and effortless control of the power head’s 180° steering ability. Midsize Canister Vacuum with Large Filter Bag – The K3 and K2 models are considered midsize canister vacuums, which means they are smaller, more compact machines. They have a .8gallon filter bag and weigh about four pounds less than SEBO’s Dmodel canisters. Three Onboard Tools – The AIRBELT K models come with a full size crevice tool and dusting brush and a midsize upholstery nozzle. Also, many optional attachments are available that can be fitted to the telescopic tube or the hose handle. Large Operating Range – Its 37foot cleaning radius, with a 25foot power cord, saves time because it minimizes the number of electrical outlets needed during use. Plus, the 7foot suction hose provides superb user manueverability. Convenient Parking and Storage Aids – After the work is done, the suction hose with telescopic tube and parquet brush, turbo head or Kombi Nozzle can be firmly stored on the canister’s underside or backside housing. AIRBELT K3 PET White #90692AM Tug and Retract Cord Rewinder – The AIRBELT K models offer a “tug and retract” cord rewinder, instead of a control switch rewinder, which is the type offered on the AIRBELT D models. Full Bag or Clog Light – When a full bag, a clog in the airflow pathway, or an excessively dirty microfilter is detected, an orange warning light located on the canister body illuminates and an airflow bypass valve opens. This feature prevents overheating and motor damage from a lack of adequate airflow. Protective, Rubbercoated Wheels – The superb castor wheels glide easily and gently over all floor types, providing exceptional maneuverability and protection of floor surfaces. Patented AIRBELT Bumper – The soft, textilecovered bumper protects furniture, walls and the vacuum itself from incurring scratches and scuffs during use. The bumper also diffuses exhaust air, which contributes to its ultraquiet performance. Personalized Vacuums – The Kseries AIRBELT bumper can be personalized with any of these colorful textile covers: AIRBELT K2 TURBO and KOMBI The two AIRBELT K2 models are straightsuction vacuums. Thus, they differ from the AIRBELT K3 as follows: Turbo and Parquet Brushes or Kombi Nozzle, but No Power Head – The K2 models have telescopic tubes and suction hoses without integrated power cords, so they do not accommodate electric power heads. Instead, the K2 TURBO comes with an airdriven turbo brush to clean rugs and a parquet brush for hard floors. The K2 KOMBI comes with only the Kombi Nozzle, with retractable bristles, to clean hard floors and rugs. Bags are Better! – Topfill, three and fourlayer bags are an integral part of SEBO’s filtration system because they hold virtually all dirt captured by the vacuum, which improves the effectiveness and useful life of the microfilters. They also ensure continuously strong suction because dirt enters from the top, deposits at the bottom, accumulates upward, and air exits through the sides, which allows unimpeded airflow as they fill to capacity. Whether or not dirty air can escape through leaks in the body of the machine is not considered. The filtration effectiveness of SEBO vacuums is tested while they operate. AIRBELT K TECHNICAL DATA: In contrast, without bags to hold nearly all the captured dirt, the microfilters on bagless vacuums quickly clog from excessive dirt buildup and must be replaced often, or a loss of suction and cleaning effectiveness will occur. In addition, dust and other allergens become airborne when emptying bagless dirt containers. Lastly, bagless vacuum microfilters are expensive, usually costing more than a multiyear supply of SEBO filter bags. Sclass, Premotor Microfilters – Sclass, Premotor Microfilters (S =“Schwebstoff” = airborne particles) are made from electrostatically charged, microfiber material, which attracts and captures dust particles from the airflow of the vacuum before it passes over the motor to cool it. Cooling the motor with superclean air increases motor life and reduces the possibility of maintenance, even after many years of use. The Sclass Standard requires filters to absorb greater than 99.9% of particles down to 0.3 microns in diameter. For comparison, 100 microns is the diameter of a human hair. Their advantages are a relatively open texture that allows smoother airflow for better suction performance, a longer life expectancy, and they cost less than HEPA filters. HEPA, Premotor Microfilters (Optional) – HEPA, Premotor Microfilters (“High Efficiency Particulate Air”) remove a minimum of 99.97% of all airborne particulate matter down to 0.3 microns in diameter. Because these filters use small, gridlike structures to capture dust particles, dirt buildup clogs the airflow pathway sooner than what is expected from Sclass microfilters. However, SEBO’s HEPA microfilters are sold along with fourlayer “Ultra bags,” which provide highly effective filtration before the airflow goes through the HEPA microfilter, greatly increasing life expectancy and reducing the potential of diminished air flow.
