IntroductionCongratulations on purchasing Targus RemoteTunes with Dock Connector.  This device gives up to 150 feet wireless control of your iPod® within your home or on the go.  The compact, lightweight remote design is perfect for mobile users.  You can charge your iPod by using the dock connector so the iPod will never be low on battery. AER02US 400-0324-001AReceiverOperating InstructionsiPod RF receiver setup:Plug RemoteTunes into the dock connector located on the bottom of your iPod and WAIT 30 seconds.  A self-diagnostic will automatically run and your wireless remote will be ready for operation once the process is complete. To sync or charge the iPod, simply plug your charging cable into the bottom of the RemoteTunes receiver while it’s connected to the iPod.Advanced Low Power Mode (ALPM):RemoteTunes uses an advanced power down mode which minimises current draw on your iPod battery if you are not connected to a constant power source.  After 20 minutes of sensing no music playing or no remote commands being sent, the RemoteTunes goes into a battery saving mode.  The RemoteTunes receiver will automatically re-power itself when it detects music playing or when a remote button is pressed for more than 0.6 seconds.Pair up to 10 RemoteTunes remote with any RemoteTunes receiver.Pairing instructions: 1) Unplug the RemoteTunes receiver from your iPod. 2) Make sure your iPod is sufficiently charged. 3) Plug the RemoteTunes receiver into the iPod dock connector.          4) Within the 30 seconds of step 3, simultaneously press and hold, for 3 seconds, the Vol. +, Vol. -,     forward and rewind buttons.5) The remote has been paired.Extra FeaturesEnjoy your favourite music from your stereo system  by using the RCA cable. Press and HOLD  this  button  to  rewind through the trackPlaylist:    Press  and  release  this button  to  activate  the  playlist  mode.  The LED on the remote will begin to flash  very  quickly,  while  it  flashes (approximately  5  seconds)  move through  playlists  using  the  Rewind and Forward buttons. *  Playlist  function  is  not  compatible with the 3G version of the iPod.Volume  Down:  Press and  HOLD  this  button  to scroll volume down.Volume  Up:  Press  and HOLD  this  button  to  scroll volume up.Forward: Press and release this button  to  move  to  the  next  track. Press  and  HOLD  this  button  to forward through the track.Shuffle:  Press  and release  to  toggle  between shuffle on/off .*  Shuffle  function  is  not compatible  with  the  3G version of the iPod.Play/Pause/Sleep:  Press and release to toggle between Pause and Play. Press and HOLD for 2 full seconds  to  put  the  iPod  into  sleep mode.  You press and hold this button for longer than 1 second but less than 2  seconds  the  RemoteTunes  will ignore your request.
