Architectural Specification—Door Prop Alarm (DPA)
A. The logic timer(door prop alarm) shall be produced by an ISO 9001
certified manufacturer
B. The logic timer shall have a limited lifetime warranty covering malfunction
and abuse.
C. The timer shall be housed in a locking metal enclosure incorporating a
Sonalert. It shall be suitable for surface mounting above the door.
D. The BA-DPA-12 timer shall operate on 12VDC or 24 VDC.
E. The door prop alarm shall monitor whether a door has been propped
open.
F. When used with the Bondstat option of the Magnalock and a door contact
switch, it shall also detect any attempts to tamper with lock or door
status.
G. It shall provide three separate relay outputs to provide local and remote
signaling based on a user selectable time interval.
H. It shall also provide bypass and duress functions.
